Eastside Stronger Communities CIC is proud to provide opportunities for local people through Eastside Boxing Club, with every single coach giving their time voluntarily to support our members.
The reality of running a not-for-profit club is that costs quickly add up. In the last week alone we've paid out £250 in affiliation fees, more than £130 in tournament entry fees, £30 for a coach licence, and several other essential expenses.
We have been successful in qualifying for funding and are working hard on bids, but these applications take time and no funding has reached us yet. We know support is coming, but right now finances are tight.
We also have our Presentation Evening approaching and are looking for local businesses, organisations, or individuals who would be willing to sponsor the event, helping us cover the cost of the evening and provide trophies for our boxers. These young people train hard all year and deserve to be recognised for their commitment and achievements.
