What a way to start the season! 💪💗

The girls started off a little slowly today and looked out of sorts to begin with, but after half-time they came out like a completely different team!

The work ethic in the second half was absolutely brilliant. The girls used the space, worked incredibly hard for one another, most importantly they listened and put into practice what they’ve been learning. They were rewarded for it with a fantastic second half! 👏⚽

With the girls getting ready for the new format times, it was brilliant to see them working together as a team, supporting each other and showing just what they’re capable of. We are incredibly proud of them and what a strong start they’ve made to the new season. 💗🌙
Our goalie set the bar high ! She saved some brilliant shots today and should be incredibly proud of herself!

🏆 **COACHES’ PLAYER — LUCY**

Lucy absolutely smashed her position in the second half! She listened brilliantly, wasn’t afraid to get stuck in and worked incredibly hard for the team.

Her hard work was rewarded with a brilliant goal! ⚽🔥 She could easily have had a few more too — she just needs to believe in herself because the ability is absolutely there. You really did us proud today, Lucy! 👏💗

🏆 **PARENTS’ PLAYER — NANCIE**

Our little pocket rocket! 🚀💗

Nancie ran that pitch from start to finish. She was absolutely everywhere and her work rate was out of this world!

She played a massive part in the game, providing assists for nearly all of the goals today and even getting herself on the scoresheet too! ⚽👏 An unbelievable effort from start to finish.

We are incredibly proud of ALL our girls — and they should be incredibly proud of themselves too! 🌙💗

Girls’ first friendly of the season today against Malet Lambert! ⚽️💙
The girls were getting used to the new format of 25 minutes each way, and they did brilliantly. Lots to take away from today — we’ve learnt where we need to improve, and we’ll keep working hard! 💪

No time to rest though… we go again tomorrow at Kingswood’s tournament for Sarah! 🏆⚽️
