The Friends of Alderman Kneeshaw Park The Friends of Alderman Kneeshaw Park are a
group of dedicated volunteers with a vision to connect and engage the community.

We aim to inspire local people to engage with this green space and reignite passion for our beloved park. MISSION STATEMENT

The Friends of Alderman Kneeshaw Park are a group of dedicated volunteers who strive to make our vision a reality by engaging and connecting with HU9 residents, families, schools and sports clubs through Alderman and Kneeshaw Park. We are committed to taking a lead in the social, environmental and spiritual regeneration of the park in a holistic, proactive and meaningful way so that it is a place where everyone feels safe, families play and grow together and lasting memories are made. We hope to engage the help of the wider community including our ward councillors, local businesses, sponsors and partners so that our park is a place where people want to visit and HU9 continues to be a place where people are proud to live.

❤️ THANK YOU, OUR AMAZING COMMUNITY & VOLUNTEERS! 🌳

What a brilliant day on Alderman Kneeshaw Park!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, got involved, supported us and helped make the day so special.Around 450 people** joined us, and together we raised an amazing £457!🎉

A special thank you to our incredible FOAK volunteers who gave their time, energy and enthusiasm — from setting up and packing away, running the café, raffle and tombola, supporting activities, welcoming people and making sure everyone felt included.

It was lovely to see new friendships being made, conversations happening and confidence growing in both volunteers and community members.

Thank you also to all our partners and organisations who came along and supported the event. Your involvement makes such a difference.

Most importantly, thank you to our community for turning up, having a go and helping create such a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

This is what Friends of Alderman Kneeshaw Park is all about — bringing people together, building confidence, creating connections and making our park a place where everyone belongs. ❤️🌳
