How was your weekend?
Be honest...
Are you waking up today thinking:
π "I'll start again today."
π "I've completely blown it."
π "I need to be really strict this week."
If that's you, I want to ask one question...
Why do you keep repeating the same cycle?
It's easy to blame a lack of willpower, but in reality, that's rarely the problem.
Most people don't overeat at the weekend because they're weak.
They overeat because they've spent Monday to Friday trying to be "perfect."
They've cut out the foods they enjoy.
They've ignored cravings.
They've tried to survive on motivation alone.
By the weekend, something has to give.
The goal isn't to have a "perfect" weekend.
The goal is to create a way of eating that includes weekends, meals out, birthdays, takeaways and time with family, without feeling like you've failed.
If your weekends are constantly undoing your progress, don't ask yourself how to have more willpower.
Ask yourself whether your plan is actually sustainable.
π¬ I'd love to know...
Do weekends usually help your progress or make it harder?
