Stop focusing on the whole journey.

Focus on the first 5 minutes.

Don't think about losing 2 stone.

WHY DO WE PROCRASTINATE?

Most people think procrastination is laziness.

MONDAY MOTIVATION 💪

"I don't like vegetables." 🥒🥔🌽🥕🍅🥬

It's a phrase many people have been saying for years. But here's a question:

👉 Do you genuinely dislike them, or have you just not found a way you enjoy eating them yet?

Many foods we enjoy today were once foods we didn't like. Taste preferences can change, and the more often we're exposed to a food, the more likely we are to accept it.

This week, challenge yourself to step outside your comfort zone:

🥦 Try one vegetable you've avoided.
🥕 Cook it a different way.
🌶️ Add new herbs, spices, or seasonings.
🥗 Include one extra portion of vegetables each day.

Remember, healthy eating doesn't require perfection. It starts with small changes repeated consistently.

What do you want your story to be?
If you are not in the habit of going to the gym, if you are not a natural gym bunny or if you don't know where to start, then investing in a few personal training sessions can set you on the road to success.

🍽️ "But I'm only eating 1,200 calories..."

This is something I hear all the time.

Let's imagine a client logs everything she thinks she ate today:

✅ Breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks = 1,200 kcal

But what about the little extras that never made it into the food diary?

☕ 3 coffees with milk and 2 sugars = ~156 kcal

🍪 1 custard cream = ~70 kcal

🍫 2 Roses chocolates = ~90 kcal

🐟 Half a fish finger from the kids' plate = ~30 kcal

🍟 2 large chips stolen from the kids = ~40 kcal

🫒 1 tablespoon of olive oil used for cooking = ~120 kcal

🥔 4 Pringles before bed = ~40 kcal

📊 Total forgotten calories = ~546 kcal

Suddenly that "1,200 calorie day" becomes:

➡️ 1,746 calories

That's nearly 50% more calories than originally recorded!

The problem isn't a lack of willpower.

The problem is that our brains are terrible at remembering the bites, licks, tastes, cooking oils, drinks, and nibbles we consume throughout the day.

If you're not losing weight despite "hardly eating anything", it may be worth looking at the foods you're NOT logging.

Sometimes the smallest things add up to the biggest difference.

Eating more food doesn’t always mean eating more calories. 🥗

WHAT TYPE OF PERSON ARE YOU? 🤔

The people who train consistently aren't always the most motivated.

They're not always excited to go to the gym.
They don't always feel like working out.
They don't always have loads of energy.

The difference?

They've become the type of person who trains.

They tell themselves:
💪 "I'm someone who looks after my health."
💪 "I'm someone who doesn't quit."
💪 "I'm someone who goes to the gym."

And then they act accordingly.

At first, it might feel like you're pretending.

You tell yourself you're a gym-goer.
You tell yourself you're an active person.
You tell yourself you're someone who prioritises their health.

Then one workout becomes two.
Two become ten.
Ten become a habit.

Eventually, it's no longer something you do...
It's who you are.

So this week, ask yourself:
