A huge congratulations to Bruno on being voted our Parents' Player of the Match! 👏💙💛

Since joining the Warriors, Bruno has settled into the team brilliantly and has quickly established himself as a key member of the squad. Today's performance was another excellent example of what he brings to the team.

His work rate was outstanding from the first whistle to the last, he was fearless and combative in every tackle, and whenever he drove forward he looked a real threat. His determination, energy and willingness to battle for every ball never went unnoticed.

A fantastic performance and a well-deserved award. This is only the beginning, and we're sure there's plenty more to come from Bruno in a Warriors shirt.

🏆 Coaches' Player of the Match – Olly 🏆

A huge congratulations to Olly on being named our Coaches' Player of the Match after an excellent performance at the heart of the defence.

Olly was outstanding from the first whistle to the last, reading the game brilliantly, sweeping up dangerous through balls, making some superbly timed tackles, and always being in the right place to protect the team. Even when the game became difficult, his effort and determination never dropped, and he continued to battle right until the final whistle.

A well-deserved award for a fantastic display. Keep working hard, Olly – we're all proud of you! 💙💛

Warriors 1-6 Pelican Rangers

Our league campaign got underway today with a tough away trip to Pelican Rangers, and we knew before kick-off that we were in for a difficult morning.

The first half was a really competitive game. Both teams battled hard all over the pitch, created chances and played some good football, with neither side able to find a breakthrough as we went into the break at 0-0.

The second half began in much the same way until Pelican took the lead. A shot from the edge of the area rebounded off Reece after hitting the bar and unfortunately found its way into the net. It was an unfortunate moment, but our reaction afterwards was the biggest disappointment. Instead of responding positively, we allowed our heads to drop, and Pelican took full advantage, scoring some well-worked goals to put the game beyond us.

Bruno grabbed a deserved consolation goal after showing great determination and persistence to battle his way through, but unfortunately that was as good as it got for the Warriors.

There are no excuses. We know we have plenty of hard work ahead of us, but one result doesn't define a season. This group has shown before what it is capable of, and it's now about responding in the right way, learning from today, and working even harder on the training pitch.

Congratulations to Pelican Rangers on a deserved victory, and we wish them every success for the rest of the season.

Thank you to everyone who came along to support us today. We dust ourselves down, learn from today, and go again next Sunday when we welcome Beverley Town for our first home league game of the season.

Here are your Hall Road Warriors for tomorrow's league opener away at Pelican! 💙💛

After weeks of hard work throughout pre-season, the wait is finally over as we kick off our league campaign. We know we're in for a very tough test against a strong Pelican side, but the players have worked incredibly hard and are as prepared as they can be.

Everyone is excited to get the season underway and give everything for the badge. We know there will be plenty of challenges ahead this season, but we're ready to compete, work hard for each other, and hopefully get off to a positive start.

Good luck to all the players, coaches, and parents making the trip. Let's start the season the right way!
