Get to know me post

Hi I’m Sophie I’m 19 years old and for the last 3 years I’ve being studying to become a personal trainer I did this along side studying for my GCSE and My collage course which was an extended deploma in sport level 3 I then got a place to study in hull uni on a course called sports coaching and performance development science

A bit about my sporting back ground at the age of 6 I first walked into a boxing 🥊 gym were I took a great like to this I trained hard and took on knowledge at the age of 10 I had my medical and became a competitive boxer in 2016 I won my Yorkshire title I was over the moon this gave me the fire in my belly I continued to train hard and compete up and down the country winning my 2nd Yorkshire title and just falling short in points in my national title this didn’t stop me and made me more determined then ever in 2018 I was actually crowned national female champion it was then at this point I knew what I wanted to do I then started to help out in the kids sessions in my gym giving back some of my knowledge to the younger generation then the awful Covid took over the world this didn’t stop me I signed up to do my personal trainers cause level one at just the tender age of nearly 17 I wasn’t going to let age stop me
As Covid rules were lifted I passed my pt level 1 course just in time to start my exams while still training in the gym as often as I could in November 2021 I decided that I wanted to give more back and I took to take my level 1 England and started to coach my own children’s session I then started uni and was approached by a new gym hit squad although this is a gym mma they are wanting to expand and offer more then just that they wanted to expand to boxing pts and ladies only fitness as well as introducing youngest to the circuit I was so excited and snapped up the opportunity and here we are now trying to take on the industry with the help of everyone down at Hit Squad Hull with there knowledge and mine let’s see we’re the world takes us
