Kingswood United Hornets U15s are looking for a team to play a pre-season friendly.

We’re looking for a competitive game against a team from Group 4 or Group 5 for the 2026/27 season, as we continue our preparations for the new season.

FULL TIME | KINGSWOOD 10-5 THORPEPARK 🟠⚫️

A good win for the Hornets today as we came away with a 10-5 victory over Thorpepark Rangers.

There were plenty of positives, including hattricks for Taylor and AJ, but we also made a few mistakes which gave Thorpepark the opportunity to fight their way back into the game at 8-5.

To the lads' credit, they stayed composed and managed to find two late goals to secure the win.

Full credit to Thorpepark Rangers for their performance and their willingness to never give up. They put together some really good passages of play and made sure the Hornets were tested right until the final whistle.

Another valuable pre-season game for both teams as preparations continue for the season ahead.

The Hornets are back in action for our 7th friendly of pre-season as we take on Thorpepark Rangers for the second time this pre-season.

A big thank you to Ian and his lads for getting another game arranged. It’s another valuable fixture for both teams as we continue preparing for the season ahead.

We’re looking forward to another competitive game and another opportunity for the squad to keep developing and building together.

🟠⚫ FULL TIME | KINGSWOOD 10-3 SPRINGHEAD ⚫🟠

A really good game for both teams today, with the Hornets coming out on top 10-3.

Kingswood put in another strong performance, showing some fantastic attacking football and taking their chances when they came. Credit to Springhead, who never gave up and continued to battle right until the final whistle.

This was Springhead’s first friendly of pre-season, so there will be plenty of positives for them to take away and plenty to work on as they continue their preparations.

A great test for both teams and another valuable game for the Hornets as we continue building towards the new season.

MATCH PREVIEW | SPRINGHEAD SPARTANS 🟠⚫️

The Hornets continue their pre-season campaign this Sunday as we head into our sixth pre-season friendly, taking on Springhead Spartans U15s.

With just five weeks until the new season kicks off, every game becomes even more important. Training and matches are giving the squad valuable opportunities to build fitness, develop partnerships, and continue growing together ahead of the league campaign.

Springhead competed three divisions above us last season, making this one of our toughest tests of pre-season. It's exactly the type of challenge we're looking for to see how far we've come and where we still need to improve.

The lads have shown plenty of positive signs over the opening five friendlies, and Sunday's fixture is another chance to measure ourselves against strong opposition in what promises to be a competitive game.

FULL TIME | Kingswood United Hornets 8-2 Hedon Rangers 🟠⚫️

Another really positive performance from the Hornets as we continued our pre-season preparations with an 8-2 victory over Hedon Rangers.

The lads started brightly, taking their chances well and racing into a 6-0 lead inside the opening 24 minutes with some excellent attacking football.

Credit must go to Hedon Rangers, who never let their heads drop. They continued to work hard throughout the second half, were rewarded with two well-taken goals, and their coaches deserve praise for encouraging the team right until the final whistle.

FULL TIME | Thorpepark Rangers 2-7 Kingswood United Hornets 🟠⚫️

Another positive morning for the Hornets as we continued our pre-season preparations with a 7-2 victory over Thorpepark Rangers.

Despite the windy conditions, the lads adapted brilliantly and put in an excellent first-half performance, heading into the break 5-0 up. The second half brought more good football, plenty of chances, and another opportunity for the squad to build valuable minutes together.

A big thank you to Thorpepark Rangers for another competitive fixture, and we wish them all the best for the season ahead.

MATCH PREVIEW | SUNDAY 🟠⚫️

The Hornets are back in action on Sunday as we travel to face Thorpepark Rangers in our fourth pre-season friendly.

Thorpepark are a team we've always enjoyed a great relationship with, and we're looking forward to another competitive game. As pre-season continues, we'll be aiming to build on the positives from our opening three friendlies while continuing to prepare the squad for the season ahead.

With new faces continuing to settle in and fitness levels improving each week, every minute on the pitch is another important step in our development.
