Good morning guys, don’t forget about our paint balling day, this is for anyone who is or was part of the Iron Empire Fitness Club member base up until we released that we would be closing, we understand that some of you have already moved onto other gyms and understandably so, this day is for our IRON EMPIRE family to have one last blow out and have fun while doing it, please don’t hold back if you have moved on in the past few weeks and would like to take part 💪🏻👍🏻 we completely understand and still value you and your custom and support over the years and now want to give something back to you! 👊🏻

£8 Deposit to be paid, this buys you 100 balls and qualifies you to be booked on for the day (Paintball packages are available and the £8 deposit will be deducted from any package that any one person purchases on arrival as promised by Elsham Activity Centre)

Good evening ladies and gentlemen

Due to the low numbers coming through the doors tonight and justifiably so due to the closure of the business on 23rd of this month we have decided to close the doors for the evening.

Unfortunately we have had an empty building for the past 30 minutes and feel that it is not worth keeping the electricity on for an empty building, we apologise to any members that may be thinking of doing a later session this evening and hope you understand, with this said we have decided to reduce the opening hours from next week going forward so keep your eyes open for the new opening hours released in the coming days.

Please show your support for William on Monday 30th June if you are able to, massive respect to all veterans here at Iron Empire Fitness Club William served his time in the Royal Marines and deserves to be shown support on his final tour 🙏🏻

Anyone who can make it down to show him their support please do 🙏🏻 let’s not let William be forgotten, we ask that everyone share this post and do their part in trying to fill the hall for William 🙏🏻💙

We’ve been asked to help spread the word about the funeral of William Darnell, a 102-year-old veteran who served with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME).

William sadly has no surviving family, but his kind-hearted neighbours want to ensure he receives the farewell he truly deserves.

If you are able, please consider attending to pay your respects and honour a man who gave so much in service to his country. Let’s make sure William is not alone on his final journey.

!!IMPORTANT MEMBER ANNOUNCEMENT!!

It is with great sadness and regret that we are informing you all of the CLOSURE of IRON EMPIRE FITNESS CLUB today, WE ARE GIVING 4 WEEKS NOTICE OF THE CLOSURE AS OF TODAY AND WILL ONLY BE TAKING WEEKLY PAYMENTS FROM NOW UNTIL THE DATE OF CLOSURE, this desicion comes off the back of some personal health issues that have arisen recently for us and also due to roumors that we have been made aware of that are circulating once again and have followed us for the past 4 years that have only caused damage and loss to the business, to the people that have asked the questions over the 4 years we have only ever said one thing “if we were closing, we would be the ones to announce it and give our members the correct notice and respect that they deserve”

We are not about ripping people off and taking payments to just close the doors and run off with the money like many other gyms have done over the years, with that said we will only be taking WEEKLY PAYMENTS GOING FORWARD for anyone who would like to stay with us until the end 🙏🏻 WEEKLY PAYMENTS WILL NOW BE REDUCED TO £5 EFFECTIVE FROM TODAY.

Please ask any questions you may have in the club, we are happy to talk to anyone about this but will not answer any questions that relate to the health issues we have outlined, this decision is in the best interest of those involved and we hope you can all understand 🙏🏻 thank you again to our outstanding member base that has stuck with us over the years you are what make IRON EMPIRE FITNESS CLUB 💪🏻👊🏻👏🏻

Good evening everyone firstly let’s start by congratulating Hull KR on their victory over Warrington wolves today 👏🏻🔴⚪️🔴⚪️ after seeing out what was a hard fought battle from the first whistle until the last whistle fans can now celebrate with the team during the parade tomorrow (schedule in images)

Now with the good news over we would like to announce that we will be CLOSED TOMORROW (8/6/25) due to the schedule for the Hull 10k that will make it virtually impossible for anyone to make it into the gym due to the road closures in place throughout the morning, it is with great regret that we are having to close tomorrow due to this and we offer our sincere apologies, but we feel that this is the best option for the gym due to the events that will take place.

Please remember we will be closing at 2pm today to give our staff the opportunity to enjoy the game and show their support for our neighbours (todays opening hours 9am-2pm)
