Bowmen of St Mary's Archery

Archery club in Hull, who cater for Long Bow, Recurve and Compound Bows, We use The Academy field during summer months and the main Academy hall during winter.

Bowmen of St Mary’s Archery Club
Open Archery club formed 2007
Shooting on the field during the summer. Tuesday & Thursday 18:00 – 20:30 and Saturdays 12:30 – 16:30. We cater for all bow types. Archery taster sessions & lessons, coaching given with advanced coaching available. All year round archery venue now with indoor winter venue for archery on site. Archery body strengthening program available from the gym. Hot drinks & facilities available on site. Look forward to meeting you.

We enjoyed hosting our last Archery Experience of the year, a family group... Mum & Dad v The Rascals. Then, everyone scored individually, finishing off with some balloon killing! The results added up showed Carl being the outright winner. Well done, all 👏👏

The medals and badges keep flowing! Congratulations to Clare and Mark on achieving their Bowman 2nd Class medal, to Harry for his Bowman 3rd Class medal, and to Holly for her badge for shooting two qualifying Open Competition rounds. Well done, all 👏👏

Great to see The Peel Project ladies and juniors for this years Summer Archery Experience! Lots of laughter and fun trying to get the Gold and killing balloons. Who knew they would be soooo competitive?! See you all next year. 👏

Days: Every Tuesday & Thursday
Time: 6:00 PM onwards (approx. 2 hours per session)

🏹 What’s Included?
Expert Coaching: Learn the fundamentals using recurve bows.
All Gear Provided: We match the equipment to you... bows, arrows, and protective equipment.
Variety: Get a taster of longbow and compound archery, too!

👥 Who Can Join?
Open to everyone aged 8 and up.
Note: For archers under 18, we require an adult to be present at each session.

💰 Cost
Total Cost: £45 per person.
Secure your spot: Only a £15 deposit required to book!

Just a nice amount of scorchio for today's Taster Sessions. Some great shooting with many balloons popped. Strictly speaking, the wind indicator flag isn't part of the target but, hey, a hit's a hit! 👏
