End of year for HUSC has sadly come to an end:(
Our final week we had lots going on:
Wednesday was our final social CRATE ESCAPE, the theme being fav social.
Thursday lots of us made an appearance at our favourite club Welly! With a cheeky visit to prima afterwards.
Friday was our end of year awards where we show appreciation to all of our members after a great year together. Then head over to ashcourt to get silly.
Saturday morning we headed to sheffield to our outdoor waterpark, then made a pit stop to our favourite GOOLE KFC. Into our BBQ and emotional end of year leaving speeches.
Sunday (for the ones who can hack it) had a hungover brunch in spoons where 30 pints of orange juice were drank.

Overall it's been a great year for the club both swimming and socials wise. We are so grateful to our new members and old for keeping the club going.

With the sun shining, some of our swimmers went over to Welton Waters to do some open water swimming… mixing things up and venturing outside the pool!!🏊 ☀️
With some having done it before, and some, this being their first time, everyone braved the cold and had a great time in the process.
We hope you all enjoyed and it was great seeing everyone stepping out of their comfort zone and trying something new!

VARSITY 2026 WINNERS💛🩵

A HUGE well done to all swimmers!!!
Everyone swam amazingly, honestly it was amazing to watch from the sidelines & it was sooo tense finding out the win came down to the very last race 😦

As always win or loose we celebrate HUSC style with many many funnels and too many bottles of wine🍾(extra this year because we brought it home)

Well done to you all did amazing hope you enjoyed your night, see you again next year🫡

Last weekend we had our annual old boys weekend👴🏼
It was lovely to see some old faces return for our haworth socials and nights out🎉
We appreciate you all for taking time off work and travelling for the event, we you all enjoyed as much as we did (& hopefully the hangovers didnt last too long)

Major thanks to committee and Sophie & Szymon for planning the weekend rounders was definitely a hit, possibly something that may stick around this summer🫣
