Shafi Khan Memorial Golf Day – Saturday 1st August 2026 ⛳️💙

A huge congratulations to all 17 teams who took part in this year’s Shafi Khan Memorial Golf Day at Kingsnorth Golf Club. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped the Khan family remember Shafi, a much-loved and long-standing member of the club. It was a fantastic day filled with great golf, friendship, and wonderful memories.

As many of you know, we recently lost our dear friend and fellow member, Ray Johnson.

To honour Ray's memory, I've created a JustGiving page to raise funds for a memorial bench to be placed by the 7th hole, celebrating the hole-in-one he achieved there and creating a lasting tribute to a much-loved member of our club.

In Memory of Ray Johnson 🥲

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our fellow member, Ray Johnson.

Ray was a much-valued member of Kingsnorth Golf Club whose friendship, kindness, and quiet nature touched so many of us. Whether out on the course, in the clubhouse, or simply enjoying a pint in the company of fellow members, Ray was always a welcome presence and will be remembered with great affection and respect.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with Ray’s family and friends during this very difficult time.

Ray will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Rest in peace, Ray. You will always be part of the Kingsnorth Golf Club family.

🏌️‍♂️ The Fuggle Cup 2026 🏆

What a fantastic day of golf at Kingsnorth Golf Club for this year’s Fuggle Cup 2026! ⛳️

A huge congratulations to our overall winners:
🥇 Charlie Bradley, Paul Bradley, Neil Ruddock & Jack Kelly – an outstanding 53 points to take the title!

Well done also to our runners-up:
🥈 Charlie Chilcott, Callum Grossman, Jack Chilcott & Marshall Plummer – also finishing on 53 points, just missing out on countback after a brilliant round.

Congratulations as well to everyone who took part. It was great to see such a fantastic turnout, plenty of friendly competition, and lots of laughs throughout the day. Thank you to all the competitors for making it another memorable Fuggle Cup.

A special thank you to Little Raj Indian for providing a superb afternoon luncheon – it was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone! 🍛👏
