🚨 SECURITY ALERT – PLEASE READ 🚨

There has been a recent increase in golf club thefts across Kent, including at Etchinghill Golf Club.

The individual pictured has been captured on CCTV.

Kingsnorth Golf Club has NOT been affected — and we intend to keep it that way.

We have full CCTV coverage across the clubhouse, driving range and course, with live monitoring in place.
Anyone caught attempting theft will be identified and prosecuted.

To help protect your equipment:

• Keep your golf bag with you at all times
• Do not leave clubs unattended
• After your round, return your clubs to your car immediately before entering the clubhouse
• On the driving range, keep your bag at the FRONT of your bay (not behind you or against the wall)
• Report anything suspicious to a member of staff straight away

Members / Public Notice – 24th April Friday Morning Greens Maintenance ⛳️

Dear Members / Visitors…….

Friday morning, 24th April we will be carrying out an important greens maintenance program across the course.

The work will include aeration, over-seeding, and sanding of all greens to ensure they remain in excellent condition for the season ahead.

During this time, temporary greens will be in use while our team completes the maintenance.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we carry out this essential work to improve playing surfaces and overall course quality.

Great to see our fantastic senior section out on the course today enjoying their Thursday swindle — smiles, swings, and plenty of good company all round.

Our senior section truly is a brilliant part of the club and a real asset to our community. The atmosphere, friendships, and love for the game are what make it so special.

A huge thank you to Mark Penfold and fellow partner tree surgeon, for all their hard work over the past couple of days 👏🌳

Mark and Big D have been busy tackling the overgrown bushes and trees around the course, trimming bushes and trees that had collapsed around the 8th tee box and fairway, and doing a fantastic job tidying up around the 9th pond.

He’s also carefully cut back a fallen tree on the left-hand side of the 9th, cleared around the pond, and opened up the fairway beautifully by removing overgrown bushes.

To top it all off, the two signature trees on the 9th fairway have had a well-needed trim — just a light “haircut” to keep them looking their best 🌿

The course is now looking fantastic and ready for the spring and summer season ⛳️☀️
