Kingskerswell Colts Youth Football Club Kingskerswell Colts are a youth football club based in the village of Kingskerswell on the outskirts of Newton Abbot, Devon.

We are members of the Pioneer Youth League and offer football to children from the age of 4 to 16.

DAWLISH TOURNAMENT WINNERS 🏆

Our U11s were cool under the intense Dawlish heat to record their first tournament victory!

Coach Alex said “ A Fantastic team performance throughout the tournament , only conceding 1 goal all day. We won the final on penalties against our friends at starcross Dons. Brilliant day and chuffed for the boys thoroughly deserved”

The U7 Whites finish their debut league season in style!

The Whites rounded off their final league fixture against a strong Starcross side with a fantastic positive result, showing determination, teamwork, and real character throughout.

After a slow start, the team found their rhythm, battled through a tough contest, and showed great resilience when challenged late on to secure a deserved win.

Special mention to Max Hook, voted Supporters’ Player for an outstanding all-action performance in midfield, contributing brilliantly at both ends of the pitch.

Manager Paul was full of praise for the whole squad after the game “Nobody put a foot wrong today, and I’ve been so proud of their game in the past month or so.”

An incredible second half of the season from this group, lots of progress, confidence, and teamwork. Well done, Whites

Buckland Tournament Winnersđź’™

An incredible day for the U8 Blues at the Buckland Tournament yesterday, coming away as worthy champions after a brilliant team performance from start to finish.

Coach Nathan said “Placed in a tough group, the boys worked incredibly hard all day, battled in every game, remaining unbeaten and represented the club brilliantly”

“Then when it mattered most, they stepped it up again producing outstanding performances in the knockout stages and finishing with a great win in the final”

“A long and tiring day, but seeing the smiles on their faces as they collected their trophies made every minute worth it. We’re so proud of every single one of them for their effort, attitude, and teamwork throughout”

Great weather and a cracking game of football to finish the season for our U13s.

They played their final match yesterday and were involved in a real nail-biter, finishing 1-1 with Paignton Villa.

Coach Ricky said “We got off to the perfect start when Frankie’s great work down the wing set up George for a simple finish from close range. The game became scrappy in midfield at times, but the lads kept battling and created plenty of chances throughout.
Paignton Villa equalised from a second-half corner during a strong spell for them, but the boys never stopped pushing and had several big chances to win it late on.”

Man of the Match goes to Alfie for an outstanding display in midfield, full of energy and tenacity”

“A brilliant way to end the season. With a bit more luck in front of goal, the boys would have got the win their performance deserved.
Proud of this group and excited for the future.”

Match 2 of 2 last weekend for the U7 Whites against Torquay Academy Sport on the TA 3G.

Coach Paul said “We knew this would be a tough fixture after facing them a few weeks ago, but the boys started brilliantly and played some really positive football throughout.”

“TA put us under pressure at times, especially during the middle stages, but the Whites defended superbly. Theo, Ryan, Dugie and Rocco were all outstanding with their tackling and determination, particularly when dealing with set pieces.”

“Going forward, Josh, Albie and Max all showed great attacking intent, with the team creating some excellent moments and working hard for each other from start to finish.”

“The most pleasing part of today was the boys’ game management, stopping quick dribble-ins, pressing high and staying disciplined throughout.”

Another really positive result and performance from the team đź‘Ź

Supporters Player went to Ryan for a brilliant defensive display and disciplined marking during set pieces.

Managers Player went to Rocco for increasing their involvement in the game, being strong in the tackle and understanding the importance of quick dribble-ins.

A brilliant day at the Tavistock Tournament for the U14 Whites! After finishing 3rd in their group, the boys really turned it on in the knockout stages, securing a superb 5-0 semi-final victory before going on to win the final 2-0 and become Europa League champions!

Coaches Chris and Martin said “The boys were outstanding throughout the day and fully deserved celebrating their trophy at the end. Their attitude, teamwork and determination were brilliant to watch.”

“As mentioned earlier, there was quite a delay during the tournament due to a serious incident, and the boys remained patient, respectful and supportive throughout.”

“A fantastic day all round, Whites and Blues supporting and celebrating each other all day long a real credit to Kingskerswell Colts and what this club is all about”

Tavistock Tournament Winners đź’™

The U14 Blues were victorious at Tavistock this afternoon, winning the “Champions League” after finishing second in their group to YMCA Plymouth, who they then met again in the final and beat 5-4 on penalties.

Coach Adam said “Obviously, the afternoon started in really unfortunate circumstances with the terrible injury to Isaac of Railway Beacon. Our thoughts are with Isaac, his family, teammates and coaches. We wish him a speedy and healthy recovery, and we’ll see you back on the pitch very soon.”

“I want to say a big thank you to Karl, who was first on the scene to support the lad. Karl, you were superb mate, you should be really proud of what you did today. You’re a credit to our club.”

“As for the boys, you could tell the incident affected them in the subsequent game, but once they regrouped, they were superb in the remaining three games. They then dominated both the semi-final and final but couldn’t quite find the net, before staying cool under pressure in both penalty shootouts to secure the overall tournament win.”

“I’m so proud of them and the coaching team on a really challenging day.”

These lads had a brilliant day at the Tavistock Football Club tournament yesterday ⚽️

Both U14 teams brought home all the silverware on offer, capping off a fantastic day for the club. Match reports to follow!

Everyone at the club would also like to wish Isaac from Railway Beacon a speedy recovery after suffering a broken leg during a game against our Blues. Wishing you a full recovery Isaac…you’ll be back on the pitch in no time 💙

This mornings match against Newton Town was the first of two fixtures this weekend for the U7 Whites.

And what a morning it turned out to be, with the boys registering their first ever positive result in the league.

Both teams were evenly matched and played their part in a superb, entertaining, end to end encounter, with both teams scoring lots of goals and showcasing great play throughout. It was a great advert for both clubs.

The Whites Supporters player went to Josh for his performance in front of goal. His finishing was spot on today and is learning the value of taking a touch or two into the penalty box before shooting.

Managers Player went to Albie for really steadying the ship in the second half, getting to grips with Newton’s attacking players, and sacrificing his attacking game for the benefit of the team.

Well done to all the boys on a superb mornings work.
