For training tomorrow, we will be borrowing some ‘contact friendly’ land from the lovely Baldings at Park House Stables.

Meet up at The Fieldgate at 1845, share lifts etc and drive 5 minutes down the road to Overton to White Hill Car Park.

There is on-road parking, and a car park set back from the road slightly.

Kingsclere attended Walkfest 2026 at Leamington Spa on 24th-26th July.
An annual event with over 20 walking rugby teams from the South and midlands of England and even a couple of Welsh teams involved.
The team came home with the Spirit Of Rugby award for the weekend.
The team also received a Leamington shield presented to the club for being the longest running team to attend the festival. Next year we get free entry and camping for the weekend! What a bonus! Thank you leamingtonrfc

The walking Rugby festival, is also combined with a weekend camping opportunity meaning that players can stay over on the Friday and Saturday evenings and join the entertainment and party atmosphere of the weekend.

As we look to the new season here are the upcoming fixtures.
Competitive rivals, ambitious teams and a lot to play for this season.
A lot of young blood has made its way to the Kingsclere pitch already and preseason has only just begun. Our coaches are keen to build after a few amazing previous seasons.

New kit, new sponsors, new mindset. That is what is in store for 26/27.

Walking rugby news-

The Kingsclere team attended the Kingswood Walking Rugby festival at the weekend, with the festivals special guest star George Taylor of the Bristol Bears. Six matches played, won 4 and narrowly lost 2.
The Kingsclere Flamingoes were flying high!

Also a big congratulations and thank you to Kingswood RFC for putting on the world’s largest walking rugby festival. 52 teams including Kingsclere and over 500 other players for a warm day of rugby in Bristol.

What a day for Walking Rugby, plenty more to come!
