What an inspiration, two hip replacements and now moving with full strength and mobility. Proof that what you put in, you really do get out.

This is where the classical Pilates equipment is so clever. The reformer, push-through bar and other apparatus give support where it is needed, resistance where it helps, and allow you to build strength, control and confidence safely. Done consistently, it can make a huge difference.

A strong reminder that our bodies are capable of far more than we think and you are in control of them!

You move your body to stay strong but what you put into your body matters just as much.

JM Pilates and JM Healthy Living are now one.

I’ve brought my two worlds together, movement and nutrition, to help busy women who spend their days running businesses, homes and families, but rarely have time to think about themselves, realising that working online, sitting for long hours at a desk, and snatching snacks between meetings might keep their business running, but it’s not doing their body or their long-term success any favours.

My lovely client, Dani, is one of those women. She runs a very successful global sleep consultancy and mentorship academy, but with three children and a busy business to juggle, she’d found it harder to stay strong and at the weight she feels best at.

We’ve been working closely together, creating simple routines and real food plans that easily fit around her life.

Dani is really motivated and can already see the difference, more energy, more strength, and has a whole new way of shopping….she now sticks to just two aisles in the supermarket, fresh food and meat, and says reading the labels down the others was a real eye-opener!

In the words of Joseph Pilates “You’re only as young as your spine is flexible”

Keeping supple and strong is crucial to your longevity, research now shows that the only factor more important than how you move is what you put IN your body.

Still feeling the impact of an extraordinary masterclass with Jean-Claude Nelson at Holly’s beautiful in Battersea.

Jean-Claude, a classical Pilates teacher who embodies the work with such clarity, grace and purpose.

His teaching is precise, powerful and quietly profound. You feel every word, every cue, in every part of your body!

What struck me most was his analogy of finding your internal spring; that deep energy within the body that creates lift, lightness and flow.

It’s not something you force, it’s something you find when you move with intelligence and intention.

Being in that space, surrounded by passionate teachers and guided by someone who lives and breathes the method, was incredibly inspiring. It reminded me that true Pilates isn’t about performance or perfection, but deep connection.

Thank you Jean-Claude for sharing your brilliance, and thank you Holly for hosting such a special day.
