It has been a while since I did anything with this page, so I thought I would update it.
With my new job hours and other commitments on Saturdays I can no longer run games. This means we will not be re opening in future.
I would like to thank all our past players for making it a fun game to run for all these years and I hope you all remember your foam flinging, zombie tagging and base bombing moments with a big grin on your faces!
I will leave this up for a while then delete the page so the name can be used by another game.

Just an update- We will be back, currently very busy on other projects, I am going to talk to our venue about how they want to re open, then I will have to look at numbers, format etc. I am hoping to have a game before May half term. We may also be able to play outside before that. Thanks for hanging in there over lock down, let’s get foam flinging soon.

Still no end in sight to restrictions so it looks like no games this year. If the situation changes you will all be the first to know.

Just to remind people, we will reopen eventually, just not yet.
As Nerf does not have a UK governing body it’s not easy to treat it like a sports club and run socially distanced sessions outdoors. There are only two possible sites to run outdoor games in town, both will be difficult to get permissions for and neither has facilities for hand washing.
Current guidelines on gathering do not include youth services, but we are really only providing an activity, so a return to using Horizons is unlikely until the guidance changes.
Hope you are all staying safe, I will post here the minute anything changes.

Just a reminder that we are still here. The National Youth Agency has released its first (30 pages!) guidelines for youth work under the present conditions. This still does not give us the safety we need to open, even if we were to play outdoors. I am keen to get playing again but won’t be re opening until the NYA advises it’s possible.
Stay safe and keep up the practice!

If you are as bored as we are without a regular game, I made a couple of videos on daft nerf related subjects to keep people amused and active. Try this yourselves, everyone can join in making and playing, no space too big or too small.

Get creative and make a horde of zombies to practice your tagging skills on. Look out for some "in game" action with these shortly. Stay safe and fling foam....

At the end of our final January game someone walked out with at least 30 of our Rival HIR’s. If you have them at home please return them. If anyone brings them back I will give that person free entry to the next game. They are the yellow foam ball things that go in a Rival blaster. Some of ours have marker pen on, some do not.

For all those of you thinking about going to your first Nerf game in the UK, maybe at Bristol Blast, Wolfpack, FDT, DSS, TDW or Grim up Nerf, check out this great video from Jangular.
We in the UK can't promise you Californias sunshine and some of our play spaces are a little smaller, but we can promise if you attend a game organised by any of the above groups you will hopefully have as much fun as the people at B.U.R.N. in San Francisco are clearly having in the games on here.
Remember there's no upper age limits on fun with foam, if your kids want to go, get involved yourself! Fling foam as a family, you will get a great workout as well as settle some scores and make some great memories together.

Nerf wars are a lot of fun, but why is that? Let's look at some footage from an awesome game in my area! PO Box & Social Media Below - PO Box Address: Jangul...

With more of our players running magazine fed blasters the need to carry spare mags is always a problem. I have been looking at ways to get a belt mounted solution that holds all the common dart mags.
Here is the PLCE webbing utility pouch, designed to fit a plain or PLCE belt and it works with yolks. In this picture you can see the top flap folded down with 4x18's in the pouch. It will take a 25 dart drum as well. If you don't like camo it comes in olive drab. There are black ones around too. Ebay sometimes has them for £5.
Here's a link if you want one for £10each, which is still a bargain IMO.

If any of you are looking for what you need to play, I put a handy guide up. Note that FWA can supply everything in the first picture so you can get playing with no gear needed!
