Beautiful left hand BSA R10 in for some Underdog love, the factory regulator has gone and it’s shooting all over the place. On a full cylinder the rifle shoots 3 ft/lb and as the pressure drops the fps climbs eventually going over 12ft/lb which is obviously no longer legal. So a Huma reg has arrived for it. So far the figures are pretty impressive after the workshop test , tomorrows field test will tell the full story!

Targets from the ATA airborne test 25 , 50 and 75 the wind on our range is so wierd, at 50m we get wind either right to left or left to right and then at 75m it either come towards you or away from you. The lay out of the land causes havoc with the wind, should make for some Interesting competitions.

Shot the ATA airborne today but the wind was pumping, 25 m results were fantastic but at 50 and 75 the wind really messed with us. The rifle showed promise between the gusts of wind so I’m excited to go out with it again when the wind is not so bad.

ATA Airborne .22 Optisan EVX 5-20x50 Range day tomorrow or Tuesday. Can’t wait to see how it shoots.

Very impressed with the build quality of the ATA airborne air rifle, bit on the heavy side, over 5kg but very well built. The rifle had an annoying rattle coming from the moderator and also the barrel screws holding the barrel in were completely loose and the barrel was wobbling. Air rifles also need prepping before they go out to customers just like a car or a bike gets checked over, this one obviously was not checked leaving the owner scratching his head when it wasn’t grouping properly. I can confidently say that the issues are now sorted and I will post the results of the shooting test once done.
