Looking for a fun way to get kids out on the water this summer? Our RYA OnBoard sessions are the perfect introduction to sailing!

Designed to build confidence, teamwork, and water skills in a safe and enjoyable environment, these sessions are ideal for beginners and young sailors looking to progress.

Starts on Sunday, 14th June at 9:30am for 6 weeks

Suitable for young sailors of all abilities
Qualified RYA instructors
Fun, friendly, and active sessions on the water

RYA First Aid Course – 31st July

Would you know what to do in an emergency on the water?

Join us on 31st July for the RYA First Aid Course, a practical one-day course designed for sailors, powerboaters, instructors, race officials, and anyone who spends time on or around the water.

The course covers:
⛵ CPR and resuscitation
⛵ Recovery position
⛵ Dealing with drowning and hypothermia
⛵ Head injuries and fractures
⛵ Medical emergencies afloat
⛵ Essential first aid techniques for boating situations

📍 Location: Snettisham Beach Sailing Club
⏰ Time: 9am to 5pm

We are hosting the finale race for the junior eastern traveller series. A weekend event comprising of a coaching day Saturday then race day alongside our normal club racing on Sunday! Fantastic viewing area from the beach 🏖️ 🌊 🍦

Snettisham Beach MYC - Sail for Fun Open day!

Join us at Snettisham Beach Model Yacht Club’s Open Day to trial our sport.
You will be able to take control of one of the member’s yachts and experience first hand the fun of remote controlled sailing.
Don’t worry if you have no experience of sailing, it’s easy – honest – and many of our members have started as absolute beginners.

Thank you to everyone that made our open day a success yesterday. A special mention to Kerry and the galley crew and to Stuart, Sonny, Connor and Tilly out on the water. It was a bit of a breezy, grey day on the water, with a lovely day at the club. The hotdogs and snacks were well received and it was lovely to listen to Sirens at the Helm perform. We would like to welcome our new members and we look forward to seeing you back at the club soon.
