Dolphin Swim School Dolphins is run by June Backmeier and Kim Broad. Our teaching team are committed to teaching children in a happy and relaxed environment.

Children may enrol at any age and will be invited to join our swimming classes when they turn 3 years old. All teachers are ASA qualified and CRB checked.

Dolphin Swim School in King’s Lynn is looking for a positive and enthusiastic self-employed swimming teacher to teach children, from ages 3 to 12 years old, this important and potentially life-saving skill.

Hours - Intially 4 hours per week, split between a Thursday evening and a Saturday morning, during school term time only.

Hourly rate of pay - from £12.21 to £14 per hour, depending on qualifications.

We run lessons on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 4pm to 7:30pm and on Saturday mornings from 9am to 11:45am, during school term time.

We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching children to swim by delivering engaging and professional lessons in a fun, happy and safe environment.

You will hold an ASA Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching qualification.

Ideally, you will be flexible regarding covering extra lessons as and when required.

Dear all,
The swimming pool pump has been replaced and we were hoping to be able to run lessons tonight, however, the water temperature has not increased enough throughout the day to make this possible.
Therefore, tonight's lessons have had to be cancelled - Wednesday 28th September 2022.
We will definitely be back up and running tomorrow night.

Dear all,
Unfortunately the swimming pool pump failed over the weekend and therefore we're having to cancel tonight's lessons - Monday 26th September 2022.
The pump should hopefully be replaced tomorrow, in which case, we'll be back up and running on Wednesday.
So sorry for the inconvenience caused by this.

The number of hours available and the hourly rate of pay will depend upon your qualifications.

We are looking for someone with a passion for teaching children to swim by delivering engaging and professional lessons in a fun, happy and safe environment.

Ideally you would hold an ASA Level 1 or 2 Swimming Teaching qualification, however, full training will be available for the right candidate.

You will need to be flexible regarding covering extra lessons as and when required.

Dear All,

In accordance with the latest Government announcement we plan to restart swimming lessons at Greyfriars School, for Groups 2 and above, on Monday 12th April.

We will restart beginner classes as soon as social distancing rules have been lifted. The proposed date for this is 21st June.

It has been an incredibly challenging year and we are very much looking forward to seeing you all as soon as we possibly can!!
