Priory Celtic U16 Girls are looking for a few new players to join us for the 2026/27 season.

We're especially keen to hear from Year 11 girls, but Year 10 girls interested in playing up an age group are welcome too.

🟢⚪️ A winning start to the season for our U13 Girls Sunday team! 🟢⚪️

The girls kicked off their campaign with a brilliant 5–0 win against Sherwood Colliery Black!

⚽️ Goals: Cia x2, Priya, Isla-Jean & Violet
🎯 Assists: Violet, Priya & Isabella

A brilliant all-round team performance, with some great passing football throughout.

Special mentions to Amelie for some fantastic runs, Ava for working tirelessly in midfield, and a strong defensive performance from Darcy, Melia, Mazie, Chloe and Isla-Jean to keep a clean sheet. Isabella was also confident when called upon and played a brilliant goal kick through to Violet for the fifth goal!

💚⚽ A winning start to the new season for Priory Celtic U14 Girls!

Our Division 2 campaign got underway at home against Calverton Miners Welfare, with Alice, Grace, Kadie and Megan making their league debuts for the team.

After a strong start from Calverton, Priory grew into the game. Beth, Lilia, Amelia, Lyla, Mollie and Iz all played their part across the pitch, while Lily opened the scoring after battling her way down the right and finding the net! ⚽️👏

Kadie then made an incredible impact, scoring with her first touch after coming onto the pitch! She took control, drove forward under pressure and fired past the goalkeeper to make it 2–0. 💚⚽

Calverton came back strongly in the second half and pulled a goal back, making for a tense finish. Priory continued to battle, with important defensive work from the girls and some excellent saves from Esmae helping the team see the game through.
