Dear NTC members,

Given the recent government advice to close schools from today onwards, the club has taken the decision to suspend all indoor training sessions. Here at NTC, the safety of our members and their family is our number one priority.

The coaches at NTC will look at possibly facilitating a few outdoor fitness / training sessions (whilst still complying with social distancing requirements) over the up and coming weeks to help you all keep in shape in preparation for when everything is back to normal.

We will be monitoring the situation closely and will keep you updated in due course. Please see below link for more detailed advice fr the government:

ADVICE: Precautions following Government's 'stay at home' national policy

The National Taekwondo Club remains fully open and operational during the declared global Coronavirus pandemic, however, following the latest Government announcement, we're obligated to take steps to protect our students, staff and associates.

- If any of our students develop, or show symptoms of coughing, flu or a cold, we will respectfully ask them to leave and contact parents/carers where applicable

- Antibacterial and paper towels will be readily available throughout all of our venues

- A constant review will be carried out in line with national policy and our legal obligations

As the Government is continually updating their advice, we will continue to monitor this crisis closely and provide relevant updates where necessary.

The Prime Minister is set to make further announcements over the coming days and weeks, and this could have an impact on large gatherings, educational and sporting institutions.

Should closures of events and schools take place, we may have to take unprecedented action in closing our venues, too - but this will be communicated at the earliest given opportunity.

No rest for these two heading out to France for the French open G1 straight off the back of nationals. Best of luck Zak Angell and Kai Law competing from NTC Rotherham as well as the countless other NTC players going into it this weekend.
