🌲 Hiking block Mugdock Park! 🌲

Join us on Mon 22nd June at the East car park,for our fun and welcoming canicross sessions! These classes are beginner-friendly, so if you’ve been thinking about giving canicross a go, this is the perfect time to start.

🕘 Meet time: 7pm

If you’re new and need kit, please arrive for 6:40pm to get fitted and warmed up before we set off.

🐾 All levels welcome!

Whether you’re brand new or a seasoned canicrosser, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

This is a strictly hiking session 🐕---🚶🏼‍♀️

Been a delight to work with Amy she is a true inspiration in the dog world. If you need kit, check out her shop on line or in person and of course if you are in south west Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 get along to her sessions.

🤩 Exciting News! 🐾
I'm a freshly certified Cani-Fit Run Leader! 🏃‍♀️ It's taken a while to complete the EXCELLENT course due to having an entire shop and continuously taking on far too much but we got there in the end and I'm chuffed to bits!
What does this mean? Well it means that we're going to start having some introduction to Canicross and Canicross Skills classes coming up very soon!
I'm really looking frowards to helping more people get started in canicross, learning new skills, helping some more dogs like Max and some more people like me - and generally having a great time!
My classes will focus on the very basics to get you started even if you know nothing about it! And will also cover training for partnership skills with your dogs like the Line-Out, Left/Right commands, Overtaking, 'On-by', Heel/Back and Go Go GO!
They will be open and welcoming to people and dogs of all shapes and sizes - all fitness levels and all confidence levels - you don't need to be a 'runner' to get started. Canicross can also be an amazing confidence builder for nervous and reactive dogs and I 100% encourage you to give it a try. It helped to change Max's life.
More info will be coming next month.

Friday night cani-hike!

End your week on a high -- come join Foxy and me, and our special guest star, for a hike at Croy Hill. Stunning views and layers of history are on offer no matter the weather.

Now that it is getting warmer (sometimes) and more humid, hike is your best friend for your best friend, to build strength and keep their brains busy. Beginners are very welcome – hike is also a great way to get started.

The total distance is a bit over 5K. With or without the rain, there is not much water on the ground, so please carry water for your dog. Beastie repellent is also recommended in case there are bits out of the wind.

Our new block of Cani-Fit sessions at Mugdock Park starts back Monday 22nd June and we can’t wait to see you and your four-legged pals there!

This will be a hiking pace block, due to temperatures.

All you need is:
🐶 A willing dog aged 12 months or over
👟 Some trail hiking trainers

We’ve got kit you can borrow for your first few sessions, just let me know 🫡

Final Renfrewshire class before the summer break — we’re heading to Pylons Car Park, Gleniffer Braes.

Expect a slower, more technical session on proper trail terrain, perfect for sharpening footwork, control, and confidence on uneven ground. Trail shoes are a must.

This class is bookable individually, so whether you’re a regular or trying canicross for the first time, you can book on and give it a go .
