💪 After a tough opener against Glasgow East End FootGolf Club, the team bounced back in style.

👏 Alba edged the strokeplay 57–52.

🏆 William Mckay topped the leaderboard with the best score of the day, earning the Big Points Matchplay tie.

🔥 Alba then powered on in the matchplay to secure a brilliant 5½–2½ win.

🚀 A massive result against one of Scotland’s strongest clubs and a great sign of how far Alba FootGolf has come.

Alba FootGolf Club v Ayrshire FootGolf Club

Tomorrow we take on Ayrshire FGC in Matchweek 4 of the 2026 Club League at our shared home course, Caprington Community Golf Club

While both clubs know the course inside out, there will be no shortage of competition as two strong squads go head-to-head looking to secure valuable league points. With plenty of familiar faces lining up against each other, it promises to be a fantastic day of FootGolf.

Presidents Cup – Murrayshall Round-Up ⛳️

A mixed weekend for the Alba players at the first Cat A event of the season, with some great performances and a bit of bad luck along the way.

Murrayshall was in fantastic condition all weekend, with a very technical layout that tested every part of the players’ games 👏

🥇 Garry Scholes picked up his first Cat A win in the Over 45’s category

🎯 Jonathan Wallace Mcclymont secured a strong 4th place finish in the Over 55’s

🎉 John Walter recorded his first ever hole-in-one on tour!

🩼 William Mckay unfortunately suffered a knee injury and had to withdraw after round one.

👏 Congratulations to all the winners and podium finishers!

The tour season got underway on Saturday at a wet and windy Moffat Open. Fair play to everyone who battled through the tough March conditions 💪🌧️

⚽ MATCH RESULT - GLASGOW EAST END v ALBA

In tough weather conditions today, Alba FootGolf faced Glasgow East End at Golf It Glasgow.

After the strokeplay the match was finely balanced at 56–56, with Alba topping more of the leaderboard positions while GEE collected more category points.

The matchplay proved decisive, with Glasgow East End winning 3½ – ½ to secure victory in their first ever club match.

Glasgow East End - 161.5
Alba FootGolf - 70.5

⚽️ Capey Doubles Tournament Results ⚽️

What a great day we had at the fundraising tournament for oor Garry 👏 The standard was high but the atmosphere was even better!

Results:

🥈 2nd – Wullie McKay & Frazer Weir
🥉 3rd – Marc Orr & Scott Gibson

All the top 3 players took home an official match ball, with Michael Eardley generously giving his to newcomer Kris Clark 👏 Class gesture.
