Ayrshire Athletics Arena was delighted to welcome Commonwealth Games Team England athlete Maddie Down Para Athlete for some additional training sessions at our facility.

Maddie claimed an impressive bronze medal in the T38 100m and will be back in action in the T38 Long Jump Final tonight.

During her visit, our AAA Summer Camp athletes had the fantastic opportunity to watch Maddie train and hear first-hand about her experiences competing at the Commonwealth Games. It was an inspiring session for all involved!

And of course, we couldn't let Maddie leave without a group photo 📸

We would like to wish Maddie the very best of luck!

🚴‍♀️Ready, Set, Pedal is back! 🚴‍♀️

Due to the popularity of the sessions this month we are putting on 2 more sessions.

*Free, fun, confidence-boosting cycling sessions for kids let by an experienced British Cycling level 2 coach.
*We break down the skills into fun games and challenges, so kids learn without even realizing it!
*Who: Kids aged 5-12
*When: Monday mornings (3rd & 10th August) 10-11am
*Where: Ayrshire Athletics Arena
*What to Bring: A working bike, a well-fitting helmet, and a water bottle.
