📣An opportunity for Killin Aikikai members - adults and children.

The Spring Aikido Course, in Larbert. It’s being held in May 2025 and people will come from the U.S. and Europe as well as the U.K. The three teachers mentioned are Advanced Coaches, at the top of their game, and hold seminars all over the world.

The course is primarily for adults however anyone requiring more information should contact Dave 🙏

Did you know that Sensei Dave has been doing Aikido for more than 40 years. In the early 80s he spent 8 months training daily at the Aikikai Hombu Dojo (Headquarters Dojo) in Japan. He attended many of the now Doshu’s classes during that time. The Doshu (Moriteru Ueshiba) is the grandson of the founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba, and the World Leader of the Aikikai Foundation. He is taking the class in this video. The video shows a typical one hour class compressed into a 7 minute clip, from entry to the dojo, to warm up, to some typical techniques against a straight cut to the head, and two hands held, before warming down with a kneeling technique used to strengthen the core.
