We have the best group of lads who all get on great, they all love playing football for Cookley Dynamos where our motto is " Together We Are Stronger ".

PPOTM vs Bromsgrove Sporting: Louis

Our keeper Louis produced an outstanding performance in our win over Bromsgrove Sporting and was voted the winner of the Parents Man Of The Match Award

Louis gives the boys in front him so much confidence, they know that if anything does get through that they have Louis to beat which yesterday proved to be impossible. He pulled off a number of superb saves to deny almost certain goals and helped us keep our noses in front to the very end.

A part of the game which louis has really developed was evident yesterday, his reading of the game giving him the ability to sweep up any danger with his excellent kicking is a real asset for us. Credit to you Louis for that mate.

Really pleased you got this award, a win, a clean sheet and a trophy is a cracking start to the season.

Well done mate.

Football is back 👍🏻😀, we start our league campaign with a fixture against Bromsgrove Sporting Colts.

Two Divisions separated the teams last season so its a tough challenge for our boys, its one that we will take head on and I'm sure that whatever the outcome, they will all do it with smiles on faces.

Managers Man Of The Match vs Warnden Village: Oscar

Oscar is another who has had a fantastic pre-season, 3 apps, 2 goals and 3 assists shows he is now firmly back in the groove of the Oscar of old.

He produced another creative performance last night and scored a lovely goal. He's equally at home playing on either flank but he's looked superb playing as a 10 during the summer months.

If we put his ability to one side for a moment and focus on one of Oscars best traits, his attitude. Its first class, he shows this week in week out and is a pleasure to coach.

Well done mate, you've definitely earned your shirt for our opening game of the season this Saturday.

Parents Player Of The Match vs Warden : Josh

Josh has had a fantastic pre-season and last night he continued his fine form with another great game.

Fleet of foot and a constant menace to his markers, he covered every blade a grass and got his rewards with a fantastic strike from just inside the area that flew in at the near post giving the keeper no chance.

Big season coming up for you and I can't wait to see what you can achieve. 20 plus goals..............why not?, you've done it before and you can do it again.

✍🏻Meet the New Signings ✍🏻

Once a week for the next four weeks we will be running a feature on each of New Signings that have joined us for the coming season. You will be able to find out things like their Favorite Food, Favourite Footballer, Boots of choice etc.

First up its time to meet " Super Dougie ", Goalkeeper on a Sunday but he's our Def/Mid enforcer on a Saturday.

Dougie is a cracking lad and he's already showed what a great, reliable team mate he is going to be for our Dynamos.

Marley put pen to paper this week and committed to us for the upcoming season. What a great performance to start off your journey with Cookley .

Playing as a number 10 off the striker for the most part, you found some excellent pockets of space and was the creative spark that we have missed in the past.

Always available to receive the ball and trying to make things happen. You played with bundles of energy and deservedly got on the score sheet with an excellent strike from distance that smashed into the bottom corner.

Well done Marley, I'm predicting double figures in goals for you this season.

Parents Player Of The Match vs Worcester City Whites: Ronnie.

Ronnie has been an excellent addition to our midfield this pre season. Still learning his trade having recently transitioned from defence to midfield but wow what a player. Last night he showcased all his skills, whether that was getting his foot on the ball and making us tick or making tackles to deny goalscoring opportunities.

Last night he also showed that he can be a leader on the pitch as he was rewarded with the Captains armband for the second half. He communicated well with his team mates and is quickly becoming a very well respected teammate.

⭐New Signing No 4: Marley ⭐

Welcome to Marley, worth wait guys........................ 100%✍🏻 .

We fought off some serious competition to get this one over the line, from the very first session Marley joined in with us, me and my coach knew we wanted him as part of our squad for the 26/27 season.

How would I describe Marely, he's got a wicked left foot, combative, excellent close control and an eye for the spectacular. Most importantly he's a great lad and he fits in really well with the current squad. Banging in a hatrick in his last friendly appearance for us didnt do him any harm either.

Along with Marley we welcome his Steve (his dad) and his family and Joanne (his mom) and her family.

That's 4 good quality additions now for the coming season and concludes our transfer business.
