Following a good test at Blyton last Sunday I am pleased to announce that Dan Petrie and I will be contesting Lee Holland Memorial Stages Rally 2025 at Anglesey on 2nd March followed by the Manx Auto Sport Manx Rally. In April. Protyre Motorsport UK Asphalt Rally Championship entries in and if all goes well Borders Competitions Jim Clark Rally. Many thanks to Jay Stanley for releasing Dan from his contractual commitments! 😉👍 Very much looking forward to getting some proper use out of the Proton! Just not looking forward to the tyre bill! Home after a very frustrating day! All ok and going at a sensible pace whilst learning new venue and a new tyre until Stage 4 when the crank sensor trigger wheel decided to part company from the bottom pulley! 😕 shame as we were lying 9th overall and 2nd in class with plenty more pace to come. Investigation to commence tomorrow as to the cause! So this Sunday sees probably the last Rally of the year for the Proton at Bovington for the The Challenger Stages 2023. First time at the venue for Andrew Sankey and I, and no pressure being seeded top seeds in the 2 litre class at 15 🤪 some very quick cars and drivers on the entry list so will be interesting to see how we fair. Praying for reasonable weather for both us and Weaver Motorsport! 🤞 Unfortunately no spectators allowed as the venue is MOD so hopefully will have time to post updates. 👍

So after the disappointing news that the Weeton Stages had to be postponed due to the military having to revoke permission to use the land I put an entry in to the Dixie’s Challenge to take place on Sunday 30th using the infamous Epynt Ranges which I have not yet had the pleasure of competing on. Following a time on the reserve list Jack Bowen and I have been accepted (commiserations but thanks to those who had to pull out).
