๐โโ๏ธ Body Position โ Technique โ Speed
This week's Swim Squad focused on kick efficiency and body position in the water.
Using the **Silicone V-FLEX Ergo Training Fins**, we started with some social kicking before progressing onto Superman kick. This drill helps swimmers develop a stronger streamlined position and improve awareness of how they move through the water.
For triathletes, kicking isn't just about propulsion. A good kick helps maintain body position, reduces drag and improves overall efficiency, allowing you to swim faster while conserving energy for the bike and run.
We then transferred those skills into some faster swimming with fins, challenging athletes to maintain good technique as speed increased.
Small changes in body position can make a huge difference to confidence, efficiency and ultimately swimming faster with less effort.
