Eleven (11) anglers fished the third annual summer festival here at Woodside. Numbers were capped for this year's event due to water levels being lower than normal on acccount of another really hot summer with some pegs simply not having enough water on them for fish to be safely kept in keepnets.An...

A massive congratulations again to Dan Hart on a superb performance over the two days. A good effort on day one coupled with an untouchable performance on day two saw the Worcester-based rod secure an emphatic victory against a strong field to confirm his third win in four festivals - the year he didn't win, he didn't fish! He is, without doubt, the man to beat here in the summer!

A huge congratulations also to Ick Kull who, despite a dominant day one performance, had to settle for second place overall despite a massive cumulative weight over the two days.

Well done to Steve 'Paris' Hilton who finished in third place overall after a very consistent performance over Sunday & Monday, which included an impressive 90lb+ catch from an unfancied area on day one.

Comisserations to Dave Bowyer who, despite an excellent performance over both days, which saw him record the best part of 250lbs over the festival, finished just outside the top three.

Thank you to everyone who took part. The fishing was very good and the banter on the bank was even better!

☀️ SUMMER FESTIVAL ☀️

For those of you fishing this year's summer festival, it looks like it's not going to be particularly 'summer-y' 😂 We will draw at 9:30am and fish 10:30 - 15:30 both days.

We will be paying two lake winners each day with a top 3 payout overall with final placings being determined by way of points.

If we have a full house, anglers will be divided equally over both lakes and divided into two sections of 3 to keep the competition competitive with the worst possible points score each day being just 3 points. However, we will NOT be paying section winners - only lakes winners.
