BAFRA is proud to announce the crews who will work the British American Football Association Mixed Adult Contact BritBowl 38 game tomorrow.

This game is the pinnacle of domestic contact football, and like the teams, these officials have excelled throughout the regular season and have been selected based on their performance.

BAFRA is proud to announce the crews who will work the British American Football Association Under 19 Division 1 & NWFL Premiership 9s Bowl games tomorrow.

BAFRA are proud to announce the crews who will work the British American Football Association Under 16s National Finals & Plate Tournament tomorrow.

We have 4 crews who will cover the 8 games throughout the day.

We wish all officials and teams the very best in Staffordshire tomorrow! The first set of games kick off at midday.

🦓 BAFRA PHOTOGRAPHY COMPETITION 🦓

Last year, BAFRA hosted its first Photography Competition for rulebooks, mechanics and our cover photos. We were stunned by the level of interest it generated.

So much so, we're doing it again! Ahead of the 2027 Rulebook, Mechanics Manual, and IFAF Rulebook, we have accepted new photos, and again, we're opening up the vote to you!

🦓 U19 DIVISION 2 & NWFL FINALS CREWS 🦓

BAFRA are proud to announce the crews who will work on Finals Day for both the British American Football Association Under 19s Division 2 and NWFL Regional 7s Leagues.

We have 2 sets of crews for each league who will work the Semi Finals, the Bronze Medal and Finals later in the day.

We wish all officials and teams the very best in Staffordshire tomorrow! The first set of games kick off at midday.

🦓📣 AUGUST TRAINING FULLY BOOKED 📣🦓

We are pleased to announce that our August training course is now fully booked!! Thanks to the Union Jack Classic support, we saw a spike in enquiries and we hope to see all new recruits begin the course next month.

Did you miss out? We have another course in November and there are some more funded positions available on a first come, first served basis.

AUGUST REFEREE TRAINING POWERED BY UJC 💥

BAFRA x BAFA x UJC announce a partnership to fund equipment for 20 rookies on the August 2026 training programme.

This is an exceptional opportunity to remove cost barriers for new officials and encourage new people across Britball to pick up the stripes 🦓

For current players and coaches, sometimes the summer/winter season isn’t enough football. BAFRA has a strong nucleus of active players and coaches.

🦓 UK Coaching Week 2026 🦓

The BAFRA membership is filled people of all different walks of life. Many of which are former or current coaches who have taken up officiating.

With UK coaching week in mind, if you are a former or current coach who wants to remain in British American Football, come join the third team on the field!

Read about David & Lee, two former coaches who chose to by giving back their knowledge of the game and becoming officials.

We offer 1-2-1 mentoring and full training to all new members, with the next course starting at the end of this season. Come and see the game from a different view point this autumn.
