Wyre Forest Climbing Wall Adventurous roped climbing activities for all ages & abilities, traditional climbing wall with a twist – 10mhigh with a chock stone feature wall & Rock Box

Based at Wyre Forest Leisure Centre in Kidderminster this exciting new climbing facility opened July 6th 2016. Offering adventurous roped climbing activities for all ages and abilities this is a traditional climbing wall with a twist – 10 metres high with a chock stone feature wall and 5 of the unique Rock Box climbing elements, there really is something for everyone! The climbing wall is accessible to all ages and abilities with sessions starting at age 4. A full junior club programme will be run as well as junior/family tasters, party and group sessions. The wall is open 7 days a week for experienced climbers or adults wishing to learn how to climb. Experienced climbers will appreciate the “real rock” features and the commitment to frequent high quality route setting. A comprehensive schools programme is offered ranging from PE sessions through to GCSE PE. Special schools and those with disabilities are especially welcome. Everyone can climb! As families look ahead to the summer holidays, our new campaign is reminding parents not to leave water safety until the last minute. The time to start swimming lessons is now. 💧

Fronted by Michael Gunning, the campaign highlights the difference between a child who can just splash and one who is truly water safe, able to stay calm, float and cope in open water. Those skills take time to build. ⭐
