Missing our hula hoop classes?

Whether you’ve been coming to hoop classes from the start or have been once or twice, you are welcome to join for a one-off hoop jam this month! It will be different to a class, with the freedom to hoop however you fancy - experiment, play, dance! So bring along any ideas of tricks you’d like to work on. I’ll be there to guide you and can always show some tricks to try too.

It will either be 16th or 23rd March at our usual time of 7:15-8pm at Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall. The idea is that you can pay what you’d like, with a suggested amount based on how many attend to cover the cost of the hall. There are already around 5 people that have expressed interest following my email 🥳🪩

So if you’re interested please drop me a message/comment and let me know if you have a preference on date. Then I’ll communicate the final date that suits as many people as possible. Looking forward to hooping with you again! 💫

‼️Chaddesley hoop class is cancelled this Monday‼️
I’m not feeling very well at the moment and I don’t want to pass anything on, so I have decided to cancel Monday’s class (20th October).

I have contacted all of you who were booked in and will sort a class transfer or refund.

It was so lovely to be invited back to hoop at the University of Birmingham today for a freshers event. So many students hooping and having fun. And it’s exactly 13 years ago today that I discovered hooping and its many possibilities at the exact same university! 😃 What a cool way to celebrate my hoopiversary!

What are hoop breaks? It simply means stopping the hoop’s flow and sending it in another direction 🔄💫 The fun of hooping means you can make that break with … well … whatever body part you decide: a hand, a knee, an arm or anything you want to try! There are no rules when it comes to hooping. Maybe you can spot some in this clip!

Speaking of other types of breaks - there will be no class next Monday (25th Aug) as it’s bank holiday.

Tonight’s class is on at 7:15-8pm - plenty of spaces left at www.hooparoo.com/classes as I know it’s a busy time of year ☀️

Wolverley Carnival… here we come! 🤠
After Bewdley Carnival last weekend (check out the photos!), Hula Me Happy and I will be heading to Wolverley this Saturday (5th July) with our hoops and dancing shoes 💃🏻

You’ll be able to spot us in the parade, which starts at 12:30. After that we’ll be on Wolverley Memorial Hall Field, with adult hoops for you to give it a try 💫 We will also be performing in the Arena on the field later in the day (I’ll pop the time on here when I find it out)

It would be lovely to see you there!
