Every belt earnt is a huge achievement that takes hard work and dedication. However, earning your blue belt really is something extra special. 💙

It marks the move to intermediate level, where students take the leap from a two-hour grading to an intense three-hour session. Their knowledge, skill, mechanics, technique, stamina, strength, energy and determination are all scrutinised and assessed - covering everything from every previous belt right through to their current belt, needing to be performed at a higher standard than ever before. It's physically and mentally exhausting!

Achieving a blue belt really isn't easy, so we couldn't be prouder of these two amazing women, Gaelle and El, who have absolutely worked their socks off to earn this belt. Please join us in giving them a huge congratulations!! 👏💙🥊
