We face off against teams from Swansea, Cardiff and Exeter in what promises to be a great day 💪

A big well done to our Junior Romans who played in their first set of matches in Cardiff for the season! 🥳

We played three hard-fought games against Exeter, Swansea and Cardiff and unfortunately came up short each time 🙃

Despite the scorelines they battled throughout the day and we have plenty to practice in training 💪

We are looking forward to the next one in a few weeks time! 🥰🏀

Well done to player/coaches AJ and Ellie for completing the Newport 10k today in the sunshine 😎😎 they were also joined by Lara and Kate who both ran impressive times.

This was our first time at the event and we were very impressed by the inclusivity, accessibility and atmosphere 👏 we hope to return next year with more club members.

It wasn't the fairytale ending to finish off a season awash with plenty of challenges, but we did it! We made it through our first ever season (just) in the British Wheelchair Basketball National League 🏀

Our match at the weekend proved too tough against a ruthless Swindon Shock Wheelchair Basketball team seeking a third place finish, but we stuck at it and showed great teamwork, sportsmanship and togetherness 🥰

Player of the Match went to the returning #4 Charlie Cruse who drew plaudits from the Head Coach, officials and supporters as she showed us what we've been missing! Congratulations and welcome back! 🥳🤩

The team all went to the pub afterwards to reflect on the season and enjoy a good chat and social. Let's see what next season has in store for us! 🏀👩‍🦽🏀👨‍🦽

For the final time this season our 1st team are in action in the National league today - once again taking on our local rivals Swindon Shock Wheelchair Basketball 🏀

We are delighted to welcome back #4 Charlie Cruse after an absence away from the team and cannot wait to see her play in the Romans jersey with a big smile on her face once again 😊

The game promises to be a close one - good luck to all those playing and go give it your best! 💪
