Here are some FAQs about the classes:
Where is the Masque Theatre?
This is at the Latimer Arts College in Barton Seagrave, Kettering NN15 6SQ
What do I wear?
Something comfortable e.g. leggings, floaty skirts. We dance with bare feet or dance slippers (grippy socks ok in winter). I will supply some jingly hip belts.
Do I have to get my belly out?
Absolutely not. Unless you really want to.
What ages do you have in your class?
There is no specific age. I have dancers attend in their 20s and 70s but the demographic changes from time to time.
What if I am no good at it?
Don't expect too much of yourself if you are new to belly dance. It takes time for your body to adjust to the movements. Like everything, it will take a while to learn and adapt. Also, don't be put off by dancers who have been doing it a while - they had to start at the beginning too!
What is your group like?
Come and find out. Everyone is really friendly - no one is judgmental. We are all super supportive and the main aim is to have fun while learning.
How much are your classes?
At the moment, the fees are £30 a 6 week term - £35 for 7 weeks. I can adjust if shift work limits attendance.
How do I sign up?
Just message me and I will add you to the list. Classes start on 8 September!
