‘THE FEVERS – THE FINAL SEVEN 🎸🍺
Well, we’ve somehow managed to avoid saying this for 13 years, but the time has finally come…
The Fevers are calling it a day.
Yes, after 13 years, hundreds of gigs, thousands of miles, questionable dressing rooms, even more questionable venues, broken equipment and repeatedly asking ourselves “why the f**k are we doing this?” while loading gear into a van at 1am… we’ve decided we probably ought to stop. 😂
And what a bloody 13 years it’s been.
We’ve played to packed rooms. We’ve played to considerably less packed rooms. We’ve played to people who have travelled miles to see us and people who quite clearly only popped in for a quiet pint and immediately regretted their decision.
But most importantly, we’ve met some absolutely brilliant people along the way.
To everyone who has booked us, put us on, played alongside us, bought us a pint, danced, sang, shouted requests we had absolutely no intention of playing (one request for Gypsy by Fleetwood Mac and several hundred for S*x on Fire), or kept coming back to see us year after year — thank you.
Some of you have been following us for virtually the whole 13 years, which frankly raises questions about your judgement, but we love you for it.
We’re not finished just yet though.
There are SEVEN Fevers gigs left, and we’d love to see as many old friends, familiar faces and assorted reprobates as possible before we finally switch the amps off.

So if you’ve ever seen The Fevers, booked The Fevers, played with The Fevers, got drunk with The Fevers, danced badly to The Fevers or simply wondered how five blokes have managed to keep this nonsense going for 13 years… you’ve got seven chances left.
And on Boxing Day, at Burton Band Club, we’ll do it for the very last time.
It might be emotional.
It definitely won’t be sophisticated.
And there’s a reasonable chance somebody will be drunk.
13 years. Seven gigs. One last run.
