🖤💛Billing Neos U14 0-2 Mawsley Hurricanes U14.💛🖤

Mawsley Hurricanes travelled to Billing Neos on a damp Sunday morning for their County Cup fixture. With the pitch in very poor condition, the message to the players before kick-off was simple: battle hard, compete for every ball, and move it quickly.

Mawsley started brightly, pressing the Billing players high up the pitch and enjoying plenty of success in the opposition half. Their positive approach was rewarded within the opening minutes when Tom was in the right place at the right time to finish from close range and give Mawsley a deserved early lead.

The Hurricanes dominated much of the first half, producing some good passages of football despite the difficult conditions. Although the heavy surface made free-flowing football challenging for both teams, Mawsley remained organised, disciplined and committed throughout.

The second half was more of a battle, with Mawsley showing great resilience and determination. The defence stood firm whenever called upon, while the team continued to apply pressure at the other end. Their persistence eventually paid off when Jacob's determination and strength led to a second goal, sealing a well-earned victory and a place in the next round of the cup.

Overall, this was a solid team performance in very testing conditions. Every player played their part, and the squad can be proud of the effort, attitude and teamwork they showed throughout the match.

A special mention also goes to the parents for their fantastic support on a cold, wet and gloomy morning.

Cool, calm and collected in goal. Made the saves he needed to, distributed the ball well in difficult conditions, and provided a commanding presence at set pieces.

A solid defensive display, combining strength and pace with good distribution. Produced several driving runs forward that resulted in
efforts on goal.

Played very well in central defence, showing great composure on the ball. Moved into midfield during the second half and brought energy, determination and quality to the team.

A strong performance at right-back. Showed good speed, worked hard throughout both spells on the pitch and used the ball effectively.

🟡Sammi
Played in a more advanced midfield role and was calm and composed throughout. Worked tirelessly, showed good skill on the ball and finished the game strongly in central defence.

🏆 Alfie
A constant threat down the right wing. His work rate, determination and attacking intent caused Billing problems all game. A Player of the Match performance.

🟡Jakub
Enjoyed an excellent first half, helping to control the midfield alongside Sammi. Showed great desire to win possession and fed the attacking players well.

🟡Mikey
Played at both right-back and right midfield, putting in a hardworking and disciplined display. Competed well for the ball and linked play effectively.

🟡Lorenzo
Another strong performance. Showed excellent skill, always wanted to get on the ball and communicated well with his teammates throughout the match.

🟡Hugo
A good all-round display in midfield and attack. Made some important challenges and linked play well with those around him.

🟡Harry
Worked tirelessly to win possession in advanced areas and provided a valuable outlet for his midfield teammates.

Scored an important second-half goal to secure the victory. Used his physical strength effectively throughout and produced some good touches and link-up play.

Opened the scoring and once again showed a knack for being in the right place at the right time. Worked hard, linked play well and combined effectively with midfielders and attackers.

A great result to start the season, although we certainly made things more difficult for ourselves than they needed to be!
We weren’t fully on it today, but I’ll put some of that down to first-game rust. We’ll go away, work hard in training and build from today because I know what these boys are really capable of.

🧤 Joseph – Managers’ Player of the Match
Fantastic today. Made some incredible saves at important moments and fully deserved Managers’ Player of the Match.

⭐ Grayson – Parents’ Player of the Match
Some fantastic running today, with a brilliant run in the build-up to our goals. Great footwork, determination and work rate throughout. A deserved Parents’ Player.

⚽ Zac
Fantastic performance and unlucky not to come away with a couple more goals. His hold-up play was excellent and it was great to see the boys interchanging positions and working together up front.

⚽ Preston
Worked hard throughout and got his reward with a well-taken goal. Kept going, found himself in the right areas and gave us another threat going forward.

🛡️ Ollie
A solid performance at the back today. Worked hard, stayed strong in the challenges and helped us out when we were under pressure.

Another strong performance in defence. Stuck to his job, battled well and put in some important challenges when we needed them.

💪 Theo
Showed his versatility today, putting in a shift both in midfield and defence. Worked hard wherever we asked him to play and gave everything for the team.

Worked really hard defensively and kept battling throughout. Some important tackles and showed great determination to help the team.

⚡ James
Gave us energy and width out on the wing. Kept looking to get forward, take players on and create opportunities for the team.
Plenty for us to work on, but plenty of positives as well. The most important thing is that we keep learning and improving every week.

🟡⚫ Mawsley Thundercats U14 Girls – Match Report 🟡⚫

Rushden & Diamonds U14 Girls 2–5 Mawsley Thundercats U14 Girls

Saturday 12th September 2026 | League

The Mawsley Thundercats U14 girls travelled to Wellingborough on Saturday to face a Rushden & Diamonds side who had already shown their attacking threat by scoring five goals in their opening league game.

We knew we would have to start strongly, compete for every ball and, most importantly, win our individual battles.

The girls warmed up well, and the message before kick-off was clear: start fast, play on the front foot and make our intentions known from the first whistle.

And that’s exactly what they did. 💪

From the moment the whistle went, the Thundercats sprung into action. We moved the ball quickly, pressed with real intent whenever possession was lost and made it difficult for Diamonds to settle.

That early pressure soon told.

A brilliant run saw Scarlett break the back line and calmly open the scoring, making it 0–1. ⚽️

The Thundercats continued to frustrate Diamonds with some excellent football, and after another well-worked move and a great bit of skill, Mariah doubled our advantage to make it 0–2. ⚽️

Diamonds began to settle and started to look dangerous going forward. A warning shot came close, and shortly afterwards a lapse in concentration at the back allowed Diamonds to pounce and reduce the deficit to 1–2.

But the girls didn’t panic.

They continued to play their football and went into half-time still in control.

At half-time, we spoke about how the little mistakes were giving the opposition opportunities to get back into the game. The message was simple: get a couple of goals ahead, then control the flow of the game.

The second half started with the same hunger.

The Thundercats were winning the 50/50 battles through midfield and beginning to take control of the game again.

A really good corner from Lily D caused problems in the Diamonds box, with the ball coming off the keeper and ending up in the back of the net to make it 1–3. ⚽️

The girls were hungry for more.

Our midfield was now running the game, although Diamonds continued to cause problems with their front four gambling forward in an attempt to get themselves back into the contest.

But that left space at the other end.

Kendra pounced to make it 1–4, giving the Thundercats some much-needed breathing room. ⚽️

Diamonds refused to give up and continued to push. They put Mawsley under pressure and eventually produced a screamer to make it 2–4.

Game on?

Not quite. 😏

The Thundercats stayed solid, continued to work hard and kept pushing forward.

And it was Kendra again who delivered, grabbing her second of the afternoon to make it 2–5. ⚽️

From there, the girls managed the game brilliantly and saw out a thoroughly deserved victory.

📚⚽ BACK TO SCHOOL: THE BOYS ARE BACK IN CLASS!

Lesson 1: How to Start a Football Match Properly.
Grade: A+

After what felt like an extremely long summer holiday, the boys were finally back in football class — and they certainly hadn’t forgotten their homework!

From the very first whistle, the team came flying out of the changing room like pupils who’d just heard the lunch bell. They were positive, worked together brilliantly and, most importantly, looked like they were having a brilliant time.

🧑‍🏫 Meet the Class

Harrison – Professor of Defence 🛡️
Harrison was absolutely brilliant at the back again, standing strong and putting in some seriously good shots from the sideline. He even picked up two assists, proving that his lessons aren’t just about defending!

Henry – Head of Shooting Studies 🎯
Henry was absolutely everywhere and took every opportunity to have a go. A few of his shots were desperately unlucky not to find the net, but he never stopped looking for the next chance. Top effort!

Adrian – Principal of Goals ⚽⚽
Adrian clearly arrived with his shooting boots firmly attached, scoring two excellent goals! In the second half he showed that it’s not just about skill either — he combined his strength and ability brilliantly.

Milo – Mathematics Department ➕⚽⚽
Milo was clearly paying attention in Maths, because he knows exactly how to add goals to the scoresheet! He grabbed two goals and was always involved in the action. Two plus two? We’ll leave the complicated sums for next week.

Casey – PE Department 🏃
Casey appeared to have discovered the school’s unlimited-energy supply, running and running and then running some more! He worked incredibly hard whenever he came on and was a real team player.

Mathias – New Boy Who Forgot He Was New 🎒🌟⚽️
Mathias made his first start and played like he’d been part of the class forever. He slotted straight in, worked hard and looked completely at home with the team — you’d never have guessed it was his first game with the boys!

Niall – Master of Interceptions 🧠
Niall was doing some serious homework on the opposition, blocking some excellent passes from the sideline and helping the team keep their shape. He also picked up two assists, showing that his passing deserves a gold star too!

Quinn – Goalkeeping Studies 🧤
Quinn was fantastic in goal, making some excellent saves and keeping the team organised from the back. There were also some brilliant celebrations when the goals went in — although, thankfully, his sportsmanship was just as good as his goalkeeping!

📖 Lesson 2: Teamwork

There were a couple of unlucky misses, including some chances that had the boys chasing the ball like hungry pupils chasing the last slice of pizza at lunchtime.

They also conceded an unlucky goal, but rather than putting their heads down, the boys stayed positive and kept playing as a team.

And that was probably the biggest success of the day.

The second half saw even more shots on goal, with the boys creating plenty of opportunities. They were simply unlucky not to add even more goals to their tally.

🏆 Parents’ Player Award

The Parents’ Player award went to Henry! 🎉

But honestly, it could have gone to any of the boys. Every single player put in an excellent performance, and picking just one was a seriously difficult job.

Henry thoroughly deserved the recognition for his energy, effort and willingness to keep getting involved, but the award is really a reflection of just how well the whole team played.

🏆 Headteacher’s Report

The boys should be incredibly proud of their first game back. They showed effort, teamwork, positivity, skill and, perhaps most importantly, respect for the opposition.

There were some fantastic celebrations when the goals went in, but the boys also understood how the other team were feeling. They’ve been on the other side of those results plenty of times themselves, so their sportsmanship was brilliant to see.

💛🖤 COMETS ☄️ 💛🖤

Well Comets, that was a tough game against a very good team. The great thing was that we didn’t shy away from the physicality and, as a coach, I’ve come away pleased with how we still tried to play and do our thing.

Captain today was Leonardo who had a great training session and in today’s game scored a top bins free kick from far out!

Parents player was our solid keeper, James, who made more saves then I could count including managing somehow to push a ball over the bar with his back to the game! It was a sight to behold!

Coaches player was Nate who just never gave up, won the ball back and was up and down the line like a maniac. That right hand side was very physical but he didn’t shy away and never gave up.

Noah - this was probably the best game I’ve seen him play and that’s saying something as he is reliable every week. Today we saw a determined side of him as he was on the receiving end of a lot of aggression but instead of wilting, he upped his game even further. Phenomenal performance!

Mateo - he had a lot of work to do on the left and it was tough as this was our oppositions main attacking point. Mateo didn’t give up though and gave it his all!

Louie - He was our strength today, never giving up and was inches from scoring a goal that was more rugby then football! He also went in goal for the last quarter and made an amazing save to keep our opposition out!

Ethan - he had bags of energy and had to use it all today with the constant attacking threat from our opposition. I’ve marked him down as scoring but he assures me it was an own goal!

Frankie - he just didn’t have the luck today but battled really hard and never gave up. He was another player that upped his aggression and was really tenacious.

Despite the result, I’m really pleased with how we kept going. Abit more luck and we may have scored a few more! Onto next week!!

💛🖤 Mawsley Lionesses U11s vs NN Titans 💛🖤

Today our newly formed Lionesses travelled to NN United for just their third game as a group since forming in the summer.

We knew it would be a tough game against a talented NN side, and it turned out to be exactly that in a fantastic game played by both teams. It was a really useful game for us as coaches too, as it showed us exactly where we need to improve and develop over the coming weeks and months.

Maisy – A really talented keeper who made some great saves whilst in goal in the first half, and then put in some top defending when she came out of goal. Really good today. 👏

Lacey – Had a fantastic game. She played in midfield, then switched to defence where she was top class, before playing a half in goal where she didn’t just do a job — she made some great saves and kicked brilliantly out of hand!

Layla – Really good again. She is so athletic that once she picks up all of the skills and tactics, she is going to become some player.

Phoebe – Some good learning for Phoebe today around when and where to pass, but she defends so well and reads the game brilliantly too — something you simply can’t teach.

Ava – Works so hard up and down the wing. She didn’t quite get the rewards she deserved today, but she’s another player I’ve been really impressed with.

Caisey – Almost scored a couple of goals today and created lots for herself too. She’s always happy to drop into midfield and help us when we don’t have the ball, which is fantastic.

Lyla – What a lovely player. She has great feet and almost created what would have been the assist of the season after fantastic work driving past her player and picking out a pass in a really tight area. A great addition to the team.

Faith – Has so much talent. I’d love to see her back herself more and take on defenders because she has the ability to beat them. She gives us so much drive on the left and creates bags of chances for the team.

Rosie – Her work rate was brilliant and she grabbed a deserved goal. Almost had a few more too! She’s a constant thorn in the side of opposition defences.

Charlotte – Delighted for Charlotte. She played in a slightly newer position on the left today rather than the right, which she prefers, but she was positive with the ball, created chances and then scored her first ever goals today. Brilliant! 👏

Millie – Millie is still finding her confidence and today she played in defence against a tough opponent. She never stopped trying and asked some really good questions when she wasn’t sure. That’s exactly how she’ll learn and improve.

Livvy – I thought Livvy was great today. So tenacious in the tackle and then equally good with the quality she has on the ball. She’s happy to play a number of positions and never complains when asked to do so — a brilliant attitude.

Saturday 12th September 2026 - 9.30am Kick Off
League Match

The Bobcats came out of the traps firing today, with great ball retention, intricate passing and strong battling when required. We had a couple of near misses and then were eventually rewarded when a failed attack was recycled cleverly from the wing to Lils (chance creator in chief) who found Isabelle in space in the area, and she fired home. Bobcats were well on top and should have pressed home the advantage to take a hold of the match. However the pre-season curse returned and we conceded just 2 minutes later, completely against the run of play... a speculative worldy shot from outside the area. You could see Finedon physically lifted by the goal and just like that momentum shifted and the reinvigorated Finedon were making more of a match of it. In truth Bobcats were on top for most of the half, with the likes of Charlotte winning so many duels, and Jessie beating players at will and at the heart of every good move, but we just couldn't quite find the net and this would come to haunt us as we were going up the slope in the second half.

The second half was a far more even affair as our Bobcats worked hard to get the ball forward but struggled to keep the ball in the opposition half for any significant period of time. This inability to give our defence any meaningful rest was making it a difficult slog. However Aubree, Mollie, Mia and Freya were playing out of their minds to ensure the opposition were barely getting a sniff of goal. Then on 58mins, out of nowhere, their striker somehow managed to weave between a midfielder and three defenders (how no-one got a defensive touch on the ball I'm still not sure) and then hit a tame but well placed shot into the corner of the net with just enough pace on it to beat the scrambling Legit. That goal broke the Bobcat resolve and tired legs looked a lot more tired all of a sudden. Just three minutes later we failed to score a gilt edge chance to equalize, the ball came straight down the other end and the understandably tired defence failed to clear our lines. To our Bobcats credit, we went back up their end another couple of times and created yet more chances but didn't have our shooting boots on and that's how it stayed.

A score-line that flattered the opposition and there were a lot of performances in the Bobcats dugout that didn't deserve to be on the losing team, but Finedon showed great physicality and worked hard for their win and congratulations to them for it.

Legit - Did the basics really well. Dealt with one particular pass back (read... shot) from Aubree exceedingly well!

Mia - Should be pleased with her performance, struggled with high balls and her tackling wasn't quite on point today (did feel sorry for some opposition shins on a couple of occasions haha!) but her composure and distribution of the ball were absolutely worldly!

Aubree - Solid as always, reading the game well and was good to see her use her goalkeeper a couple of times today.

Freya 🏆 - Absolutely outstanding today, a real force to be reckoned with. Watching her tackle players, then turn and beat players from defence and drive forward with the ball, and then sprint back into position afterwards was a defensive master class to be behold.

Mollie - Another strong game again today. Watching her stride past players with the ball out of defence near the end of the game was like watching prime Sol Campbell versus Portugal.

Jessie - The best footballer on the pitch today and that's no exaggeration. Her trickery, inventiveness, close ball control and range of passing were fantastic and just couldn't bring ourselves to sub her till the dying moments!

Charlotte - Was consistent and reliable, showed off her tough tackling and clever reading of the game. If that looks familiar it's because that's what I wrote last week and it applies again today. Excellent performance again.

Isabelle ⚽ - Her best game in months. Battling, close ball skills, stamina, pace, finishing - she was giving Finedon defenders kittens.

Lils (Cpt) 🫱🏻‍🫲🏻- Another game and another assist for this hard worker. No body in the team hates losing more than Lils and that's why she has great drive and desire on the pitch. Top drawer link up play again today.

Gracie H - Lacked a bit of protection today but didn't stop battling all game, even when her back was hurting after one dreadful challenge. Games like this make you stronger in the long run Gracie, well done!

Eden - A firecracker of energy today. Got all around the pitch, made more challenges than we could keep track of and was the engine room of the midfield!

Eliza - Started a little timid but with some guidance got herself into the game playing the way we know she can. When she's playing brave enough to do it, there's nothing more fun than watching Eliza glide forward with the ball and play perfectly timed passes.

Scarlett - Wasn't sure she'd make it after waking up feeling ill, huge credit to her for coming along but understandably only managed 5 seconds on the pitch before retiring from the game.

💛🖤Mawsley Bees U13 🐝 vs NN United 💛🖤

Saturday 12th September

Our first home fixture of the season saw us welcome NN United to Mawsley.

Every game offers a bit of unknown for the girls as it is the first time we have played any of the teams in this new league so we asked the girls to be solid in their set up and ready to adjust should we need to-we are really proud of how they listened and adapted accordingly giving us a solid base to build on through out the game!

We defended really well, the midfield bosses large chunks of the game showing great tackling alongside skill to make decisive passes and our strikers worked tirelessly to make numerous chances!

🧤Luella- bossed her penalty area well and swept up behind the defence. Great kicking and distribution!

(C)Darcie- Captain for today and she led brilliantly! Super communication, great tackles and clearances and then showed great sportsmanship when an opponent was injured!

🐝Poppy-worked really hard against a fast and strong opponent and never gave up! She was always first to the ball and then battled to win the second challenge too!

🐝Matilda-a great game where she showed defensive and attacking skills. Matilda reads the game well to make interceptions and then dribbles forward with purpose!

💪🏻Amelia N-strong, aggressive and fast; Amelia defended brilliantly today and got us out of trouble on a few occasions! She made some great clearances and forward passes too!

🐝Millie- a super game where she pressed high up the pitch to win tackles and gain possession for the team. She got herself in some great attacking positions and was unlucky not to score-the goals will come!

🐝Kat-first game of the season and she made a big impact in midfield with her strength, fitness and drive! A super performance!

⚽️Darci-another great performance from Darci! She battled all game showing her physical strength but then showed skill with some great line breaking passes and then scored with a brilliantly hit shot across the goal!

🐝Isla-a great battling performance where she also showed ability on the ball. Some superb through balls to start attacks including and assist and some brilliantly delivered set pieces!

🐝Amelia-this was Amelia’s debut for the Bees and she has settled in brilliantly! She worked tirelessly as a striker today and made lots of tackles and some great passes!

🐝Victoria-an all action performance! She was up and down the wing constantly helping defend and attack! Some brilliant skills and great crosses too!

💛🖤 Mawsley Tigers 2 - 1 Oxford City 💛🖤

Today we faced a good Oxford City side in the JPL Cup. We knew it would be a step up, playing last season’s runners-up.

The weather was really windy, and you almost felt that you may actually play better against the wind, as the ball would hold up. That proved to be the case, as in the second half I felt we were so much better.

We scored after a minute, but you could tell this was a good side. They grew into the game, and their lively centre forward scored for them to make it 1-1.

The second half was so much better, and we started creating more chances. Finally, we got the goal. We had moments when we had to really dig in and defend, but we did that, and the excellent Sienna did her job so well.

Sienna- She has made a big difference to the way we are going about things. She looks at home, made some top saves, and her distribution was top-notch.

Bella- Another big game from Bella. Her pace is an asset, and her use of her body was fantastic.

Erin- Dug in today. She had a tough start but then grew into it and, as always, showed what it means to be a Tiger, showing great desire.

Pippa- Solid performance. A really hard job dealing with the striker, and she did well with her for the majority of the time. She also learnt throughout the game how to adapt.

Maisie - Like Pippa, she had her hands full today, and I was really happy with her for the first hour. I just felt it was right to change it up with some fresher legs.

Emilia - Excellent first half, especially. She was right on top of the opposition player, not giving them an inch. When she gets high and presses the winger, it starts a lot of attacks.

Phoebe - You can see her learning on the job as she goes. It’s a big step up, and she is doing outstandingly well. She really is.

Zara - That’s the Zara we know and love! Energy and bite, as well as quality on the ball. A big step up.

Lilliarna - Another big display. So calm on the ball, it’s a joy to watch at times, but with great energy as well.

Elodie - Big performance from Elodie. Huge respect to El for what she has done this summer, and long may it continue.

Amelia - Some days it doesn’t fall for you, and today was one of those days. But she ran herself into the ground today and put herself on the line for the team.

Grace H - Best game so far. Aggressive, grafting and a constant goal threat! Really excited to see where she is at come May.

Alexa - Full of work and energy. Some great efforts saved well and a constant problem for the opposition. When she is running with all her tricks, she is so good.

Nellie - Big performance from Nellie. I know what Nellie brings, and when she brings it, there is nobody who rivals that element of her game. What I loved today, though, was her listening and adapting, as well as the normal stuff she does.

Firstly, a huge thanks to Earls Barton for agreeing to move the game to Wednesday. We had a number of players away on holiday and couldn’t fulfil the fixture otherwise.

We were pleased to get the season underway. We hadn’t played Earls Barton for over a year, so they were bound to have made lots of progress since then, as you could tell they were well coached last time.

We changed the shape a bit and took a bit more of a gamble numbers-wise at the back to try and improve our goal threat — something that has dogged us for seasons.

We started really brightly, carving out a half-chance for Charlotte, which she snatched at a bit under pressure.

With the back three looking really comfortable, we were probing and dominating the ball, but couldn’t create any clear-cut chances, either shooting too early or not getting a clean shot away. The EB keeper was also really quick off her line, and we tried a few times to catch her out, but she was equal to it.

EB looked to catch us out over the top on the break, but the defenders were up to the challenge. When the ball cleared them, Lily, in goal and making her league debut, raced off her line to mop it up.

Maisey started to get a bit more ball in the final third and nearly bagged a couple, with the keeper making some smart stops.

We were on top, but the score was 0–0. We’d been here before…

At half-time, we discussed that we were still a bit guilty of trying to play the worldie final ball, and too often we hit the defender. So, we asked them to play more to feet and then move on to get the return pass.

The girls really took this on board. A smart seven-pass move right at the start of the half resulted in a shot just wide.

We were starting to really connect as a team, playing good-quality passes to feet, not being afraid to lay it back the way we were facing, and it was great to watch. But again, the end product was just missing.

We finally broke the deadlock when Violet delivered one of her trademark deadly corners, and Erin attacked it and nodded it in at the back post. ⚽️

It was no more than we deserved, and we now laid siege to the goal, but the EB keeper was having a great game to keep us at bay.

The second was so enjoyable for so many reasons. Olivia took on her full-back on the outside with some direct wing play before whipping the ball into the box. It lured the goalie out, but Eva showed such desire to get there first, poking it square to Violet, who bagged herself a well-deserved goal. ⚽️

We could have had more, with Megan, Ella, Violet again and Zara all going close, but it finished 2–0.

Could probably have been 5, but we’ll take it — and a clean sheet for the back three and Lily is always very satisfying.

🧤 Lily

Did everything she needed to do well — off her line quickly, talking well, kicking well off the floor and out of her hands.

🛡️ Ziva

Played in a different position today and played superbly. Had to cover more distance but still made her trademark interceptions all game.

🛡️ Erin

Imperious performance at the back and a great goal as well. Defensively strong and brilliant distribution.

🛡️ Kiki

Returned from her warm-weather training looking fitter and stronger than ever. Another one who defended really well and passed the ball out with quality.

⚽ Betsy

Played most of the game in left midfield. Her distribution was excellent when the ball got to her. Needs to demand the ball a bit more.

⚽ Tinashe

Great performance in midfield. Made herself available all the time to play through and did her defensive work in midfield.

⚽ Megan

Incredible work rate again and, in the second half in particular, took much more care on the ball and played like the consummate CM she can be — giving the ball easy and getting it back again.

⚽ Zara

Always made herself available for the ball. Great feet, and we played through her lots in the second half. She was playing some lovely through balls for the front three.

⚽ Violet

A great performance, a well-taken goal and could have had a hat-trick on another day. Worked her socks off and caused all sorts of problems for the opposition.

🏃‍♀️ Olivia

So pleased she had the confidence today to take her full-back on on the outside. She did it three times in quick succession in the second half and then delivered a ball into the danger area. Lots more of that, please!

⚽ Maisey

Could have bagged a couple herself, but was always looking to make things happen. Never shied away from getting on the ball and showed lots of quality when she got it.

⚽ Charlotte

Good focal point for us. Didn’t get lots of quality ball into her in the first half, but retained it well for us and nearly got on the scoresheet.

⚽ Eva

Solid first half but came alive at striker in the second. Superb work rate and really linked up well with the midfield. Helped us play further up the pitch.
