What an amazing initiative Mike Vaughan Cycles!

🌲🎅🏻🚴🏻‍♀️ A big moment for Edie from All Saints Academy, Leek Wootton, rocking her Viva Dance Academy kit. She’s the first of three local school raffle winners collecting a brand new bike donated by Mike Vaughan Cycles, rolling out on a Specialized Jett 24 handed over by Mike Vaughan himself.

We’re proud to back our local schools and put proper bikes under children who’ll actually get out, ride, and enjoy them. Getting children outdoors, active, and confident on two wheels is exactly why we do this.

Kenilworth Common Boxing Day Cross – 10:15am to 1:15pm 🎄

Our Boxing Day Cross is back, and we’re looking for friendly, reliable volunteers and marshals to help the event run safely and smoothly.

📅 Date: Boxing Day
📍 Location: Kenilworth Common
🕒 Time Needed: 10:15am – 1:15pm
🛠 Roles: Course marshals, car park support, sign-on assistance, general event help.

No experience needed—we’ll brief you on the day. Just bring enthusiasm and warm clothes!

So it's that time you have all been waiting for !
Entries are open - please register your interest to ride. Entry is down to organisers discretion to ensure great competition in all the categories. We aim to pay prize money again this year, these will be confirmed nearer the event. We are also still committed to paying an equal amount for the top 3 male and female riders ! This race has been raced and won by some exceptional talent including current world tour riders. We would love to see more top riders on the start line of the longest running cross race in the country. Any riders not heading Belgium, you should try to win this race. It's a special one

On 26th December, Kenilworth Common will once again host the Boxing Day Cyclocross – the longest-running event of its kind in the UK. This festive race has been part of our town’s Christmas tradition for decades, bringing riders, families, and spectators together in the heart of the community.

But with rising costs for safety cover, insurance, and event setup, we need the support of local businesses more than ever to keep this historic event running.

I’ve an amazing young lad at our BMX club (Nuneaton) who’s qualified for the world champs in Australia and is desperately trying to raise £6k to get himself there.
