I’m absolutely thrilled to share the news that we have had a nomination from Miss Latham for one of our Grade 3 (now grade 4) girls to go to the Junior Theatre Dance Awards next year after gaining an amazing 93 for her exam - Huge Congratulations ! xx 🥳🥳🥳🩰

Huge Congratulations again to all my wonderful dancers!

I will give out awards and certificates in class. Please can the exam children come to class with their hair up and in exam wear for a quick group photo at the start of class. This will go on the school facebooks and on our corridor board, so please make me aware if you don’t want your child on them
and I’ll put a shape over their face

And the session is over. Thank you everyone for dancing so beautifully - Miss Latham had a lovely afternoon.
We had children taking Ballet, tap and Freestyle exams and Adults taking Bronze and Silver Awards.
Thank you to Miss Elise for her brilliant playing of the music, to my Paul for helping with the room before and after the session and to mum for looking after the children xx

Good luck everyone for the exams
Please arrive 30 minutes early for your exam to warm up and practise in the large hall. This helps if the children and adults can go over their work with me/ their friends. Sometimes once the session has started the examiners can also run early meaning exam times could be earlier.
For the young ballerinas taking their first test, if coming with hair already done it’s best to wear crossovers/cardigans/hoodies that haven’t got to come over the head (hair style!! 😂) xx

Well it’s our final coaching session today before our exams next week. Thank you to everyone for all your hard work in class and extra practise sessions (& at home too!)😍
We have candidates taking ballet, tap and freestyle exams in this session. Our new little 4 and 5 year olds in Primary will be taking their first ballet rosettes and I’m proud to say both our Adult Ballet classes will be taking awards too.
Well Done Everyone !! Xx 👏👏
