Our weekly matches and training sessions are on Sunday from 10am till 12pm September to April at our ground off Honiley Lane, Meer End. The club is family-oriented with an emphasis on enjoyment and inclusive participation. Berkswell & Balsall Rugby Football Club (BBRFC) was founded in 1981 by Les and Steve Edwards. From modest beginnings the club has progressed to fielding three senior sides on a
regular basis, as well as an occasional Veterans side. The mini and junior section have exclusive use of the club on Sundays, and upwards of 200 children now play with plenty of capacity for new members. In the early days BBRFC did not have their own ground and played at Heart of England school and the Lant on meeting house lane. After much fund raising, the club bought its current grounds on the outskirts of Balsall Common in 1998. Members raised enough funds and donated much expertise to build the current clubhouse in a single weekend!
