Your Horse Live 2024 💗
I’m still in shock (and sleep deprived😆) after the 2 days away (Mousie loved her stable!!💤) and can’t quite believe we managed to get:
• 🥈 2nd in the The Pony Club SEIB Search for a Star Open Pony final &
• 🏵️ 5th in the SEIB Search for a Star M&M Ridden final.
Thank you so much to the team at the SEIB Search for a Star for a fantastic series and finale, what an adventure!
Where do I even begin?🤯
✨ Going in to Your Horse Live, we had absolutely no expectations (or an understanding) of what Mousie was going to be like in that sort of environment under bright lights, with a 1000 seat capacity arena and loud speaker commentary.🔊
✨ Having just started the third year of my university degree, our preparation was condensed into the past 4 weekends having travelled from York to Loughborough to ride and have a couple of lessons.
✅ Mousie was just phenomenal, I couldn’t be happier with her.
We showed just how much progress we had been able to make in just the couple of months since the last qualifier and she didn’t bat an eyelid like a true pro 🥹💪🏻.
Having visited YHL for many years but not understanding how we could take part, to then working at YHL for TPC last year and hearing about the SFAS series for the first time… I never would have thought my little dream of competing there would come true less than a year later!
(Plus the fact that a couple of days later I got very badly concussed, blue lighted to hospital and thought I’d never ride again!🤯)
I have SO many people to thank, it really does take a village💞
🌟 But… thank you to Cilsane Dyminiad Helen - THE BEST pony ever. I can’t quite ever understand what I’ve done to deserve her, her fantastic attitude and everything else that comes with all of our adventures.
