New junior members welcome for the 2026 season!

Come and learn a new sport, make new friends. New juniors can have free use of junior bowls and free coaching available.

New Year, New Hobby!

Junior Membership for 2026 season now available.

Includes free British Crown Green Bowling Association membership for life, a (saving of £12).

Junior members have:

* Free use of the club’s bowling bowls, (only equipment needed is flat footwear).

* Free coaching sessions during school holidays.

* Opportunities to compete against other juniors in a safe, competitive environment.

The club committee and trustees are very grateful for Kendal Town Council’s grant to support our first ever junior bowls sessions. We had lots of return visits over the three weeks and hopefully we can offer opportunities for ongoing junior practice sessions and competitive games.

We had a busy afternoon and a special visitor today.

Kendal’s Mayor popped in to say hi and to see the new junior bowls and clubhouse renovation plans that Kendal Town Council has awarded grants towards.

On the green we had target games and tricky lines to try and find.

Thank you again to Holme Bowling Club and Kendal Town Council.

We are still taking bookings for next Wednesday and Friday 2pm - 3pm
