Good battle and game of football against Riggs Reserves. We fell to defeat, conceding two late penalties at the death after battling back from 1-0 down in a game that lacked any real quality.

𝗗𝗶𝘃 𝟮 𝗪𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗲

Fantastic game of football played away at unbeaten, high-flying Staveley. Being slow out of the blocks cost us ultimately as we fell 2-0 down before the half hour mark. We grabbed a goal back through Connor Winn before being pegged back once again to find ourselves 3-1 down. Will Chambers found the back of the net with a great strike to make the game 3-2 but we fall short in trying to find an equaliser. We can take great pride in how we played and approached the game and dominated large parts of it. Credit to Stavely who defended valiantly to hold us at bay. Great set of lads. Look forward to the reverse fixture in a couple of weeks.
