England winning football matches, summer 2.0 looks like its starting tomorrow, we haven't quite got to the longest day yet and our course is looking quite lovely at the moment, things are pretty good at the moment aren't they?

Today we celebrated the 80th birthday of the legend that is Crispy!

The man who never stops, our volunteering hero that never seems to take a day off from making our club what it is. From strimming, painting, mowing, log chopping, toilet fixing to simply any job that needs doing, he just does it.

We closed our course & clubhouse this afternoon not just so he can have a golf day/party but more to make sure he can't make himself up some more jobs to be getting on with!

80.....what a bloody man!

62 teams battled it out in yesterday's Hodgsons Decorators 2 Man Scramble. A proper Cumbrian 'Summers' day saw wind, rain and even a little bit of sunshine!
