Photos below from another excellent Chojinkai Winter Course at Centre Parcs, Whinfell Forest.

Attendees from Kendal Club were:
Elaine Wilkinson (2nd Dan)
Joe Gannon (1st Dan)
Lawrence Hanson-Diamond (4th Kyu)
Julie Kinch (7th Kyu)

If you’re interested in attending the 2027 course, please register your interest with one of the Black Belts over the coming weeks.

The date is the weekend of the Saturday the 16th January 2027.

Those wishing to attend alongside family or friends are welcome to make their own accommodation arrangements. Alternatively, as in recent years, there is usually a Kendal Club Lodge. This option is ideal for individuals and small groups such as friends or couples. The intention is to have next year’s Kendal lodge booked by early February 2026, so please don’t delay in enquiring.

The general format of the weekend is training in the sports centre on both Saturday and Sunday mornings (approximately 7:30–10:30am). Lodge bookings typically run from Friday afternoon through to Monday morning. Outside of training times, you’re free to make full use of Centre Parcs facilities and activities as you wish.

Whichever option you choose, everyone will be made to feel welcome. These weekends really highlight the inclusive and supportive nature of the Chojinkai family of clubs.

If you have any questions or concerns about attending, please speak to one of the Black Belts.
