A huge thank you to everyone who came along to our Coffee, Cake and Coaching event at Abbot Hall BC. It was fantastic to see people enjoying the day, sharing a chat over coffee and cake, and getting involved on the green.

As part of the Bowls Big Summer Abbot Hall Bowling Club have arranged a Coffee, Cake & Coaching Morning from 11am to 1pm on Saturday 13 June.

🏆 Underhill Cup 2026 🏆

An excellent day of bowling at Abbot Hall Club for the Fred Underhill Handicap Singles competition.

Congratulations to Geoff Robinson, who defeated Steve Watson 21–14 in the final to take the title.

Well done also to the losing semi-finalists, Gordon Atkinson and Ken Petcher.

Thank you to everyone who helped with today’s event and made it such a successful day.

Expect gentle movement, breathwork, and space to unwind in the fresh air, surrounded by nature and community.

Abbot Hall Bowling Club is holding its annual Underhill Cup competition — a club handicap event with a proud local history.

The winner’s cup was kindly donated by Fred Underhill, a well-known Kendal tradesman, and remains an important part of our club tradition.

Everyone is very welcome to come along, watch the bowling, and support the players.

Abbot Hall Bowling Club Annual General meetings is
On Thursday 5 March at 7pm at the Ivy Leaf Club Kent Street.

The Green will be open from 1pm on Saturday. Everyone is welcome we will be having a friendly Round Robin comp.
