🔴⚡️ ALFIE | NEWCASTLE REDBULLS U18s ⚡🔴

This summer, Alfie has been pulling on the Newcastle Redbulls U18s Academy jersey as their U18s league campaign kicks off — and we couldn’t be prouder! 🙌

Alfie worked with us through his U15s and U16s years before heading to Gosforth Academy, and from day one we worked hard together to build solid foundations in his core skills — the building blocks that last. 🧱🏉

When he is back home It’s brilliant to see him still putting in the work, honing those basics and showing that consistency is everything. We’re so proud to have played a part in his journey so far — and honoured to have supported him as he chases his dream. ✨

Keep going, Alfie — the hard work is paying off! 💪

The ground is rock hard and the season has been pushed back… but tonight’s Women’s Hour still delivered.

We worked on contact skills, focusing less on taking an opponent to ground and more on the pre‑contact elements — footwork, alignment, and decision‑making, And of course… a bit of good old wrestling never hurts.

At our last Keswick Rugby Club camp the boys and girls created their own animals world xv. They presented their teams to the group and spoke about their strengths im each position

We put the team sheets through AI to find out the winning team... the honey badger was the game changer!!!

🌧️ A very wet Women’s Hour this week! 🌧️

We’ve been putting in the work — focusing on conditioning to help us become more explosive, while building and refining the foundations that matter most in rugby. 💪🏉

Catch and pass is one of those core skills. It lets us play at a higher tempo, keeps the game moving, and creates those all-important scoring opportunities. ✨

Here’s what we believe:
❌ No skills are easy
❌ No skills are basic
✅️ All skills are fundimental to the game

We take the time to let the roots of every skill embed properly. Then we support each player to grow, so that when the pressure builds, the skill stays solid. 🌱🪨
