Our contractors have been tackling hogweed locations between Whiteford and Knockenbaird on the Urie, making great progress so far and are reporting a much younger age structure of remaining plants. This means that control efforts are working!

We'll continue to chip away at hogweed sites over the rest of the summer, and will also start hand-pulling Himalayan balsam in the near future.
