Looking to start your fitness journey..whatever the goal is, here are some tips.
📌Don’t change too much all at once📌
If you currently do absolutely nothing, don’t jump straight away to 5 workouts per week, 10k+ steps and eating right. That will simply be too much for your body to handle and you will probably end up giving up. Make small changes and slowly build up the intensity to allow your body to adapt. Simply start with eating better and getting 10k steps per day, after a little while start adding in some workouts. That way it seems more achievable.
📌Have a specific plan📌
Make sure that you have a plan on how your week is going to look and stick at it.
📌Make the goal realistic📌
Make your goal realistic to you, if you pick an unrealistic goal you will no doubt become unmotivated and give up. Just because your friend managed to lose X amount of weight in X amount of days doesn’t mean the same will happen for you. Everyones lives are different so take into consideration your lifestyle.
📌If you slip up, that doesn’t mean you have to give up📌
Miss a workout? go slightly over your calories? Thats totally fine, as long as you jump straight back on it and don’t let the slip ups continue. Giving up isn’t going to make the goal any closer.
📌Be patient📌
Lastly, be patient, be consistent and don’t get disheartened if you don’t see results straight away. Things take time so you just have to keep at it and you will begin to see the results.
