It's called the fitness industry.

The body builders have taken over, while they achieve some impressive things it drives me nuts that they portray looking good as the be all end all and the Pinnacle of fitness and health.

While ignoring the fact that body dysmorphia is on the rise particularly with young men.

And also ignore that the fittest people on the planet aren't jacked like them.

I've seen it a few times in the MMA gym too, a body builder comes in and thinks they are 10 men and after 30 seconds are gassing out.

Don't get me wrong, though they have a part to play but more muscles doesn't automatically equal more fit.

So it's time to cut the s**t and focus on actually being fit

Here is a practical Tool for busy and hard working people to help them with your nutrition.

Calorie counting is the most accurate way to manipulate your weight but it has some major flaws for most people.

1.) it's tedious, most people struggle with getting active let alone measuring every ingredient in the meals.

2.) Sometimes you don't have a scale, and the menu doesn't have the kcals on it.

3.) it's inconvenient, if it's not simple and easy the vast majority won't bother.

The secret weapon, AI. Whether it's Gemini or ChatGPT use them to help track calories.

Take a picture of your meal, provide rough details like how many eggs, if they are large or small and how it was prepared, microwaved or fried or if you used oil or butter etc

The AI chat will give you a solid estimate and breakdown of the meal.

Then use a tracking app or just a note on your phone put the date, what it was and the estimate kcals.

And because there's a 10 - 20 percent margin of error round it up to the closest 50 or 100 kcals.

Even better add an extra 10 to 20 percent if you are willing to do the maths.

Consistently tracking the estimates, is much more sustainable that perfectly tracking.

In combat sports, the jab is the most important punch in the game. It’s not the flashiest. It’s not the most powerful. But it is the fastest, it’s the closest to the target, and it sets up the knockout shot.

Your fitness works the exact same way.

Too many people fail because they try to throw massive haymakers at the start of the fight. They try to starve themselves or smash out brutal 2-hour workouts. It’s too much, you end up gassing out in the first round, and you default straight back to your old habits.

​It’s time to break it back down to the simple, effective jab:

Instead of an intense workout, do one or two exercises daily or go for a 10-minute walk daily.

Instead of a massive calorie deficit, just take a photo of your food or focus on hitting 30g of protein in your next meal.

Small, compounding actions secure your future success.

Today, I’m giving you the first actionable step.

​Most people fail before they even start because they try to go from 0 to 100 by Monday morning. They try to rewrite their entire diet and smash five brutal workouts a week.

​It’s too much, you get paralyzed by the scale of it, and you default straight back to your old, comfortable, lazy habits.
​The first step isn't about being perfect. It’s just about breaking inertia.

​Here is your contract for tomorrow: Stop trying to climb the whole mountain in one day. Just focus on one non-negotiable action.

​If your nutrition is a mess: Don't starve yourself. Just take a photo of everything you eat and send it to your coach. Raw visibility.

​If your fitness is non-existent: Don't plan a grueling session. Just put your trainers on, step through the gym door, and let the clock dictate the work.

​Stop negotiating with your excuses. The perfect time to start is a myth.
