🌱 Celebrating our Kegworth Saplings! 🏏
What a fantastic season it has been for our junior section.
This video celebrates all our junior players, along with the individual award recipients from each age group. Every player has contributed to another brilliant year of junior cricket at Kegworth Town.
A huge thank you must go to our coaches, parents, club volunteers and grounds team. Your time, encouragement and hard work make junior cricket possible, and we couldn’t do it without you.
Club caps were also awarded to Ryan Newell and Josh RF after they recorded their maiden innings of 50 or more runs for the club, a fantastic achievement for both players.
It has also been brilliant to see so many of our Under 13 and Under 15 players taking their first steps into senior cricket through the Development Team. That pathway is incredibly important to the future of our club, and we are proud to see so many young players making the transition.
A special mention must also go to Stanley Simpson, whose 150 runs for the Under 13s made him the league’s highest run scorer.
Congratulations to every junior player who represented Kegworth Town this season. The future of the club is looking very bright.
